Butter London Nail Polish in Rosie Lee

Butter London Nail Polish in Rosie Lee

Okay. Stop reading this, scroll down and look at the pictures, then come back up. Amazing right? It's just so SO darn pretty! My love for Butter London polishes grew exponentially after applying this polish. Rosie Lee is a glitter polish in a deep rose coppery gold colour and metallic. The glitter is small in size and very dense in a clear base. One layer is sheer but you get opaque coverage with 2-3 coats. The layers are thin in consistency so they also dry quickly. This is how all glitter polishes should…Read more
NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Usage Dry Oil

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Usage Dry Oil

Hey guys! For a change, here's a skincare post. I've always wanted to try products from Nuxe, so I ended up getting this multi usage oil and their lip balm. I'm liking both! NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Usage Dry Oil, much like the name is a kind of oil you can use for different purposes. It's a thin consistency of yellow coloured oil which smells just amazing. The scent is quite strong with a jasmine, vanilla floral fragrance which is somehow very balanced, it's just lovely. I use this in a lot of ways…Read more
Spring 2015 RTW : New York Fashion Week : Part Two

Spring 2015 RTW : New York Fashion Week : Part Two

Hello people! here's the second installment of Spring 2015 RTW New York Fashion Week! You can catch up with part one here.   I'll come out and say it, I'm not the biggest fan of the active wear Alexander Wang aesthetic. I don't necessarily get it. But I do recognize certain collections, like last season's that was spectacular. This one in comparison is a bit uninspiring and feels too literal. The canvas shoe dresses and heavy beaded tops look great on first glance but not very wearable. I do however, like the crop…Read more

Spring 2015 RTW : New York Fashion Week : Part One

So New York Fashion Week Spring 2015 RTW is almost at the end there have been some really great shows so far. I really liked Escada and the bright colours and prints used. Halston Heritage has such a sleek and modern collection. I love the silhouettes. There's always something to look forward to at a Monique Lhuillier show and the pastel lace gown is just incredible. I could just watch those gowns all day and feel at peace. BCBG Maz Azria has a bit of  a shabby chic thing going on but I…Read more
Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict in Red Delight

Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict in Red Delight

Hey guys! Hope you're doing well! Today, I'll be reviewing a lovely red lipstick from Lakme's new Absolute Gloss Addict Range. These are sheer glossy lipsticks and give a lovely finish. I've previously reviewed the shade Desert Rose here. Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict in Red Delight is a warm toned red. It's kind of like a true red. It's like a more pigmented version of Revlon Lip Butter in Cherry Tart and more warm toned compared to  Revlon Lacquer Balm in Provocateur or Revlon True Red. These are sheer lipsticks but this particular…Read more

L’oreal Moist Matte Lipstick in Glamour Fuchsia

Fashion Week has begun in New York! I'm loving going through all the collections everyday... lots of late nights for me. Also, fair warning, this month's posts are pretty much going to be runway collections and lipsticks. Yep. Anyway, moving on, here's one gorgeous lipstick, L’oreal Moist Matte Lipstick in Glamour Fuchsia. I had reviewed the shade Lincoln Rose last week, this one is just as awesome. The colour is to die for, it looks so so amazing. I love brights that aren't neon, they tend to suit all kinds of skintones and this…Read more
La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Riche

La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Riche

Hey guys! Time for a skincare review! You might have spotted this in a few favourites and in my travel makeup post. I've loved products from La Roche-Posay for a long time now. I always have the Effaclar AI on me and I've tried their moisturizers a very long time ago (before I started this blog). I was looking for a light moisturizer that I can carry around with me and I found this on sale at Escentual.com. La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Riche belongs to their hydration line. I was drawn to the…Read more

August 2014 Favourites

It's that time of the month to share my favourites! I have a few unusual ones here, because I can't really bring myself to fully review a hand wash and a hand sanitizer. Let's get cracking!       01. Eye Cream : Clinique : All About Eyes Rich After my trip in June, my eye area was in serious trouble. It was extremely dry and I thought it might be best to start using an eye cream. Now, this is mainly for hydrating the area. Other concerns like dark circles ( mine…Read more

Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014 : Day 4 & 5

The final installment of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014. You can view the previous posts here and here. The final two days were packed with glamorous collections and exquisite work on show from Manish Malhotra, Vikram Phadnis, Anushree Reddy and JADE by Monica & Karishma. Some were more contemporary like Ridhi Mehra, Payal Singhal which I really liked. I also loved Anushree Reddy's collection with florals and sheer fabrics with beadwork. It has a very delicate look.   Manish Malhotra   Shantanu & Nikhil   Shehla Khan   JADE by Monica & Karishma…Read more
Mac Mocha Lipstick

Mac Mocha Lipstick

I'm still reeling from the end of that amazing long weekend. The chase for friday begins! Anyway, back to the review. Mac Mocha has always been one of those lipsticks which I've always wanted but never felt like I needed it. One fine day I was feeling a bit extra spendy and I decided to get it. I'm been loving it since! Mac Mocha is from the Satin finish range of lipsticks. The colour is like a peachy brown. It's very much so suitable for olive/Indian skintones and a very nice warm neutral…Read more
