I wanted a try a few more Inglot products because I was super impressed with the eyeshadows. These test tube like Sleeks lip glosses really caught my eye because they had so many colours and shimmers. I picked this bright orange one since I don’t really have a colour like this.
Inglot Sleeks Lip Gloss in 45 is bright orange, slightly muted and packed with gold and orange shimmer. The shimmer is very dense and very much noticeable! I love the colour in the tube, but on me it didn’t translate well.
The pigmentation is not great, it’s sheer which would be fine but it’s very difficult to build it up because it applies very uneven. For the most part it looks like a tint...
This is an old foundation which I don’t use as often anymore, I’ve used up most of it. The Diorskin Nude foundation is a hydrating foundation meant to give a dewy natural look. Exactly my kind of foundation, sheer and light.
Diorskin Nude Foundation, rightly as the name suggests is meant to give your skin a natural glow and look. I use the shade Honey Beige 040. I’d say this foundation is similar to Mac Face & Body or Chanel Aqua Lumiere. The shade is a tinge darker than my skintone but in summers when I’m a bit tanned, it’s a perfect match.
The foundation is a bit runny and you always need to shake it up well before using. It’s sheer but buildable in...
I was travelling to cold countries where I knew I would be exposed to cold winds, low temperatures etc and I really wanted a good all in one cream that would keep the dryness at bay.
The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream was my pick. It’s a white coloured thick rich emulsion like cream. Consistency and texture wise it’s a bit similar to the Bath & Body Works Triple Moisture creams. It’s really thick but non greasy. It does however need a few minutes to sink in and get absorbed. But after that your skin is supple and soft for almost the whole day. You generally feel a bit of dryness in the evening.
It’s perfect to carry while travelling because you can use it on...
The very first lip gloss I bought was from Clarins, it was a lovely nude colour, a much opaque version of this one.
Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector (seriously, what’s with the absurdly long name) is a sheer lip gloss. These are meant to be very hydrating and give a wash of colour to give a natural but enhanced look. This comes in six shades, all of them are very sheer. Rosewood Shimmer is one of the two nudes in the range and probably the more pigmented one at that. I really really love this colour. It’s a rosy brown shade with very minute shimmer. The shimmer is really very subtle and you can’t tell unless you observe closely.
My bare lips tend to go purply at...
Winter is here! I cannot be happier! Last week also rained quite a bit in my city which made it cooler, cloudy and indirectly, made me more sleepy as well. The end of November signals the start of my favourite time with New Year, my birthday, anniversary and Valentine’s Day to look forward to! I mean I get gifts and I like it.

1. The Mysterious Mr. Jacob by John Zubrzycki - It’s more of a historical book than a story as such but fascinating nonetheless. Mr. Jacob is a mysterious figure in our British past where he had many roles; mainly, a diamond merchant, a spy and a magician.

November got over so quickly! I’m kind dreading the new year, so many decisions to be made!! I’m going off track, but here are all the gorgeous November magazine covers.
Kate Winslet in Vogue in so gorgeous. Her shoot and interview are a must read.
Not too fond of Miley’s new look but her Fashion cover is great.
Vogue India’s cover with young Bollywood is great, also love the cast. Ayushmann <3
Jennifer Lawrence in her Harper’s Bazaar cover looks so fierce and delicate at the same time. Also, purple lipsticks are here to stay!
Sonam Kapoor in that gorgeous Namrata Joshipuri skirt for Vogue India is also very fab.
Cate Blanchett owns her...
Purely Pro is a brand I’d never really heard of, I got it in a Vellvette bag a couple of months back. I didn’t get a chance to use this too often. But every month I kind of dig into my collection and bring a couple of products out in front just so I’ll use them more often. This blush had a lucky month!
Purely Pro blushes come in a lot of shades, today I’m reviewing Lovely. It’s a midtone peachy pink. It’s a powder blush with no shimmer. It’s very soft in texture and blends well, leaves a matte finish.
These are sheer blushes that can be built up in terms of coverage. It will work well on light to medium skintones though you will have to build it up...
I wanted to try L’occitane hair products a few months back. I picked the L’occitane Volumizing Conditioner which I think is from the Aromachologie range.
Firstly, this is a very gentle and mild conditioner meant for fine and normal hair. If you have very thick and dense hair it might seem like you need too much of this product to make it work. I say that because I have fine hair and even I feel like the need to use more conditioner than I usually do.
The conditioner is white in colour and lotion like in consistency. It’s thinner than your average conditioner. This has a very pleasant fragrance which a bit citrusy and minty. I do like that a lot!
This does condition hair...
Everyone needs atleast one bold colour in their kit/collection. If red or a bright Barbie pink is too out there for you, deep pinky reds are the next best thing.
Behold, Cherries in the Snow, a lipstick as good as the name! Revlon’s Super Lustrous range is a ancient vintage looking lipstick. It’s been around since the 1950s and if it’s lasted this long, they’re doing something right!
Cherries in the Snow is a deep raspberry pink which can be worn in so many ways. One swipe and you get a deep pink intense colour. Its pink no doubt, but depending on the lighting it can also look like a cool toned red. If you want to wear this lighter you just pat a bit on your lip and...
This is such a classic colour, I was super excited when I bought this. Chanel Rouge Coco is their range of creamy hydrating lipsticks. It’s a good lipsticks that ticks all boxes, but for me there are more long lasting and cheaper lipsticks available.
Chanel Rouge Coco is a warm dusty pink, my kinda shade! It’s a nice warm nude pink colour. If you’re around NC40 it’s a nice nude pink that won’t wash you out. If you’re lighter it’s a nice rosy pink to wear everyday. Personally, I like wearing this to office.
I find this creamy to apply, but not so much that it will slip around a lot. My lips don’t feel dry and it’s very comfortable to...
If you asked me what my first love (in makeup) was, it would definitely be nail polishes! Love them! Love changing it up every week as well! Here are my top picks for fall. I’ve categorized them by trends, so you have your vampy polishes, glitters ones and jewel tones.
Hope you find something you like!
01. Chanel Taboo – Galaxy in a bottle. That says it all! I think what really sets it apart from all the other similar polishes is that bright blue microshimmer. I love this!
02. Zoya Valerie - No fall list is complete without this favourite! My first love from Zoya, you will always find this on the top of my lists! It’s a great purple and yellow shimmer duochrome.
There are loads of reviews for this product already and I was quite late to get in on it. I was looking for a true gold kind of eyeshadow when I spotted this and thought I’d try it out. Really wanted to try a Color Tattoo.
Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadow is a recent offering of cream eyeshadows that can be used by themselves, as bases or even as an eyeliner!
The shade Bold Gold is a true gold according to me. It isn’t too yellow or too antique looking either. I love the shade! If there’s a wedding to attend, this is the first thing I reach for!
The consistency of these are very similar to Mac Paint Pots. They’re thin, creamy and dry to a matte/pearl finish....
