Spring 2015 RTW : Milan Fashion Week : Part One

Spring 2015 RTW : Milan Fashion Week : Part One

Milan Fashion Week houses so many big names, it's a delight to watch the runway shows. I very much liked Gucci's show. I'm not a 100% certain if skorts are involved but I love the sheer little dresses with embellishment and the sleek coats. I loved the whimsy aspect of Alberta Ferretti's show with the sheer layers and floral applique, it's not very unique but I'm still very much hung up on that style. Emporio Armani has blues in every possible colour but the separates were second to none. I always have this…Read more
Spring 2015 RTW : London Fashion Week : Part Two

Spring 2015 RTW : London Fashion Week : Part Two

Hey guys! So, this is the final post covering London Fashion Week Spring 2015. A lot of favourites here including Burberry and Erdem. Read more about my favourites below or just enjoy scrolling through the collections. Erdem always has a way of introducing florals in an interesting way with very sleek and lady like silhouettes. This time the rainforest green and navy made a beautiful palette. Burberry Prorsum also made it's mark with the sheer layers and map prints. There also seemed a few remixed outfits from previous trends but overall it was…Read more

Spring 2015 RTW : London Fashion Week : Part One

Time for another fashion week post! Here are some of the collections from London Fashion Week Spring 2015. I'm pretty biased when it comes to Marchesa though. I'm in love with the opening outfit, a silhouette that only th model can pull off but the embroidery is gorgeous. If you're not over the holographic trend like me, have no fear, Markus Lupfer's collection has gorgeous metallic holographic outfits in lime, hot pink and my favourite silver/blue. I typically love Julien Macdonald collection. much like Elie Saab, I know what to expect and I…Read more
Illamasqua Lipstick in Atomic

Illamasqua Lipstick in Atomic

I had always wanted to try Illamasqua lipsticks and Atomic was one shade that I was always attracted to. Illamasqua Atomic is a bright warm pink but with a frosty purple sheen. It's described as a fuchsia violet which is quite accurate but it's on the warmer side. I'd say it's one of the few frosty lipsticks in my collection. But I don't think it looks tacky like the very pearlescent frosty ones. The sheen is purple or pink depending on the lighting and it looks amazing, there's also some shimmer in there.…Read more
Spring 2015 RTW : New York Fashion Week : Part Four

Spring 2015 RTW : New York Fashion Week : Part Four

Here's the final installment of  New York Fashion Week SS15. Overall, I'd say the regulars kept me captured but in terms of being fashion forward, there wasn't much that excited me. Anyway, here's a bit about the NY collections. Marc Jacobs, I like the inspiration. The oversized look is something that personally I don't like though. I liked the khaki and olive green outfits in the Ralph lauren collection, so unusual but with satin and embellishment it really makes the colour look rich. But the bright neon gowns looked great as well. I…Read more
Spring 2015 RTW : New York Fashion Week : Part Three

Spring 2015 RTW : New York Fashion Week : Part Three

So I took a bit of a break from the fashion posts, but they're here to stay! New York Fashion Week is long gone and while a lot of collections failed to make a mark, The Row just floored everyone.  Here are some of the collections. Alice + Olivia is a collection I always look forward to. I love the contemporary and influence of retro styles. The prints and laces dresses look amazing. Reem Acra's gowns are stunning with the metallic sheer gowns and embellishments. Zac Posen had a relatively modest collection with…Read more
L’oreal Moist Matte Lipstick in Maple Mocha

L’oreal Moist Matte Lipstick in Maple Mocha

Hey guys! Hope the weekend is going well! ^_^ If you don't know already, I'm a huge fan of the L'oreal Moist Matte lipsticks. I've previously reviewed the shades Lincoln Rose and Glamour Fuchsia, time to review one of the few neutral shades in the range. L’oreal Moist Matte Lipstick in Maple Mocha is a straight up brown. I feel like it's a perfect terracotta kind of colour, it's that burnt orange kind of brown. I initially thought it would be a lot like Mac Mocha, but Mocha has a bit of pink…Read more
Mac See Sheer Lipstick

Mac See Sheer Lipstick

Everyone loves their Mac's and this particular lipstick is very dear to me. You see, I was venturing out from my nude colour lipstick phase and having bought Plumful, I quite liked sheer lipsticks.  I wanted a coral lipstick but I always felt they looked a bit weird on me. Mac See Sheer is a Lustre finish lipstick. The colour is a medium tone coral pink. I feel like it looks more orange in the tube than on the lips. It's definitely a very wearable coral since the colour is a it darker than…Read more
Sleek Blush by 3 in Pink Spirit

Sleek Blush by 3 in Pink Spirit

Hi guys! It's a late night as I write this, so this review might be a bit sloppy. Sleek is a great budget brand and they make really good blushes. I've previously reviewed another Bush by 3 in Lace, here's another variant called Pink Spirit. Pink Spirit as the name might suggest contains 3 shades ranging from plum to blinding hot pink. Overall, they are evenly pigmented and the quality is even across the board. Here are the three shades : Pink Parfait : The darkest shade among the three,, it's a plummy…Read more
