Lancôme La Laque Fever Ultimate Lasting Lipshine in Feverish

Lancôme La Laque Fever Ultimate Lasting Lipshine in Feverish

Lancome La Laque Fever Ultimate Lipshine (its so long) in Feverish is a lovely dusty plum lip gloss with gold microshimmer. It’s such a gorgeous colour! I lasts for more than 8 hours so it’s perfect for night outs. The applicator is a much for wide doe foot applicator that’s elevated. I actually found this easy to apply. You can also tilt it for precision around the edges. The colour suits all skintones but looks better over a lipstick imo.           Checklist Name: La Laque Fever Ultimate Lasting Lipshine Brand : Lancome Colour : Feverish Product Amount : 6 ml Coverage : Opaque Finish and Texture : Non sticky, glossy...

Atlantic blue is hands down one of the best Mac eye shadows. Its a bright ultramarine blue. The colour payoff is really good and it lasts really long. This would look so amazing on bright eye looks. I’ll be review the rest soon as well.   Photos and swatches below!           one swipe on left, over primer on right  Checklist Name: Matte Eye Shadow Colour : Atlantic Blue Brand: MAC Product Amount : 1.5g Pigmentation : Very pigmented Consistency: Applies smoothly. Nyx Eye Shadows in Peach Bronze and Golden Dune

Nyx Eye Shadows in Peach Bronze and Golden Dune

These are my favourite of the lot I hauled! Peach Bronze is a proper bronze with gold shimmer. Golden Dune is a dirty yellow/copper with gold shimmer. Both look so gorgeous and flattering. They are especially good if you are working with festive looks. Pair them with a plum, olive green or teal colour and you have a bright festive look! Quality wise both are quite similar. They go on very smoothly and are SO pigmented. There is a bit of fall out if you wear these without a primer. I felt that the consistency of both together made them more wearable. The fall out is more apparent when its been worn for a long time. They last fairly well. Over 8 hours so its good for occasions. They...

Faces Shimmer Peach Nail Polish

Faces Shimmer Peach Nail Polish

This is the first nail polish I bought and I’m so thrilled with it! Peach Shimmer is a very unique shade that isn’t too orange or too pale. It’s a sheer polish with lots of silver shimmer. It’s universally flattering whether you use it over another polish, or by itself. The consistency isn’t too thick or creamy. It’s more like a peach tinted topcoat with shimmer that dries super fast. It applies very smoothly, no streakiness at all. In the photos I’ve applied 2 coats, 3 on some. I didn’t want it to be completely opaque. The shimmer gets distributed quite evenly. However, if you were looking for an opaque peach with shimmer, I wouldn’t...

Goa Baga Beach Guide

Goa Baga Beach Guide

I recently went on a little trip to Goa. I thought I’d put together a like guide of my findings of good places to go to. Now, if your sole purpose to go to Goa is to chill on the beach, party, eat good food, then read ahead. For sightseeing please refer to lonely planet. My ideal trip to Goa is staying at Baga Beach and having day trips to Palolem and Anjuna. Where to Stay I like cheap but clean places. The ones I’m mentioning below; I’ve stayed at or have known people who went there. The first thing you need to know is that you need not book in advance. You might actually end up paying more as you can bargain at some places depending on how long you...

Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer

Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer

It finally rained this week! All of a sudden the weather is so pleasant and cool! Anywho… as the name suggests, Stila’s tinted moisturizer is perfect for summer if you don’t want heavy coverage. Tinted moisturizers blend very well with the skin and provide a more natural look. It’s suitable if you don’t need a lot of coverage. They don’t last very long though. So it really depends on your needs on what works best for you and your skin. It’s sheer and oil free. It does even out my skin and stays well for half a day. It doesn’t leave dryness or patchiness when it fades. I have it in the shade Dark 01 which is similar to Nars Syracuse or Mac...

Bobbi Brown No Smudge Mascara

Bobbi Brown No Smudge Mascara

Bobbi Brown’s lengthening and waterproof mascara No Smudge has a really nice formula. Within a single coat it covers the lashes quite nicely. Rather than volume, I feel it adds more length to them. The product itself doesn’t dry quickly. I’ve had this for about 5 months. I’ve started to use it more frequently in the last month. It does form clumps after 3-4 coats but I generally only apply too. I don’t like the look where there is so much mascara that it looks too obvious and at time dirty. One downside is that it doesn’t feel very light. It kinda weighs down the lash and doesn’t hold the curl too well for long. I like the brush, its not too big and...

NYX Eye Shadow in Taupe and True Taupe

NYX Eye Shadow in Taupe and True Taupe

Today, I’ll review the NYX eye shadows Taupe and True Taupe! Siblings in the name but the shades are quite different. Taupe is more yellow while True taupe has more grey and red in it. I have to disclose that I bought these because I like to make my eyelids look even and smooth. These too colours work well together to make it even and add some difference as well. My swatches appear too washed out on my skin so I will re-take the swatches soon and re upload them so that you can see the colour better. The best way to describe these two shades is that they come before and after Urban Decay’s Buck. Taupe on the yellow side and True Taupe on the more brown and grey side. The...

NYX Eye Shadow in Pure Skin

NYX Eye Shadow in Pure Skin

I had recently hauled a couple neutral eye shadows from Nyx. Pure Skin was one of them. It’s a light peachy/cream colour with gold shimmer. It’s more yellow and its quite sheer. It would work well as a highlight for brow bones or to blend in different colours if you want shimmer. I’m not too happy with my purchase. I feel that it doesn’t stay on too long. It fades after 3-4 hours which is far too less from what I expect. Also, the fallout is quite a lot. The shimmer does spread EVERYWHERE. For the money spend, although NYX isn’t high end, you can still get better eye shadows in similar colours. But, I will swatch these anyway. Here it...

Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil

Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil

Cleansers are an absolute necessity if you live in India. At the end of the end, your face accumulates so much dirt and grime that it’s essential so clean it all up. The added advantage with this cleanser is that it removes make up very effectively. It’s a yellow oil that you apply over your face and neck. You use a bit of water and start massaging, it quickly turns into a milky lotion and lathers quite well. In the end, it leaves the skin clean, supple and soft. You don’t feel raw and very dry either. When I have a lot of makeup on I first use a remover. But for things like mascara its hard to get a wipe or cotton call to do the job well. This cleanser does it in a jiffy...

Revlon ColourBurst Lipstick in True Red

Revlon ColourBurst Lipstick in True Red

I found a perfect blue based red! I hauled Revlon’s True Red last month. I just love the shade! It’s such a pretty pinky red. I don’t think orange reds really suit me well. This one is perfect! And it suits deeper and pale skintones very well. This lipstick isn’t matte or too creamy either. It’s in between with a slightly glossy finish. It doesn’t dry out the lips either. It feels so light on the lips like you barely have anything on. Like a stain it just adheres so well to the lips. As expected, it does transfer quite a lot. It lasts really long, over 12 hours and doesn’t need to be reapplied. It’s the best for occasions or night outs when...
