Gucci has a lovely floral collection. It’s supposedly inspired by the flower motif in a scarf made for Grace kelly. You definitely get a vintage 70′s vibe from the collection. From the print and from the flared pants and cuts as well.
The love the dress with the sheer long sleeves with studs on the side and a floral bodice. It looks very modern in an otherwise vintage-esque collection.
I like the beautiful browns and burgundy’s in the palette. The simple burgundy gown stands out for that very reason. With the gold necklace, it looks perfect and understated.
The floral motif is incorporated in a lot of different styles. But one of my favourites is the finale green dress....

Derek Lam’s resort collection has a mix of casual and formal styles. I liked the powder blue suit and the black and white print skirt. It isn’t a very literal animal print; which I like.
Those mango orange trousers look amazing, that entire combo looks just fab.
The side swept buttons on the the silk dress is a nice twist. I like the print too.
I just love all the shoes in this collection, especially the black and silver metallic stilettos.

Urban Decay’s 24/6 GLide On Shadow Pencil is like a jumbo eye shadow pencil. Like other Urban Decay eye products, it’s quality is amazing! I have it in the colour Rehab which is a metallic dark brown. It’s a lovely chocolate colour. I get the most use out of browns so this is perfect while travelling or if you’ll be going on a night out and just quickly what a different look. Since it’s metallic it comes off really well.
This is smudge proof so not ideal if you’re trying a smokey look. It just doesn’t budge! It’s quite opaque so a few swipes and the entire lid is covered. Also very pigmented and stays on for a really long time. I don’t...

Carlos Miele has a collection of evening gowns and a few cocktail dresses in between.
I like the black gown with the metallic design on the shoulders. I like the bright watercolour chiffon print ruffle dress. They all look exquiste.
The best is probably the peacock blue one though.

Cushnie et Ochs has a mix of different fabrics with slits and keyhole cuts being a feature. I love the plum coloured dresses. It’s a very different colour from all the collections so far and it flatters pretty much any skintone as well.
I also liked the white halter dress with cut outs at the midriff. It’d exposed but not overly so. It still looks chic.

The sheer amount of variety and volume packed in Naeem Khan’s resort collection is unbeliveable and astounding.
There are so many good pieces it’s hard to pick. This collection touches all trends while maintining Naeem Khan’s aesthetic. The dresses started off with simple pastel coloured dresses with beautiful asymmetric embroidery.
The gold fringe dress is so beautiful. It looks like liquid metal and I’m sure it looks equally beautiful when it moves. There are a lot of evening wear pieces in ruffles, sheer lace, heavy embroidery. It will certainly appeal to many.
The end of the collection had large printed florals but the gown themselves are so beautiful. This...

Calvin Klein’s resort collection preserved it’s minimalist style. There were structured suits and dresses and also more flowy and lose ones. But even so, they were complimenting.
I like the forest green dress with the sheer cape. I also like the muted yellow bandeau and dress. It look very chic. The white sheer dress is beautiful but not too wearable.

This resort collection was edgy for every silhouette seen. The black dress with the symmetric hem and cut out back looked amazing. It was the kind of dress where less is more. It’s white counterpart with a small peplum at the waist and a belt looked equally pierce.
There were other pieces which had a good mix of textiles in flattering silhouettes. There was a good mix of separates too.

Anna Sui’s collection has a very ethnic vibe to it. There are beautiful prints in light fabrics and warm bright colours. I love the variety here, not just in terms of the style but the palette as well. There are beautiful tunics and dresses. There are also pieces with lace and silk.
The black vest is gorgeous. I like the black and white tunic top. As well as the periwinkle blue printed wrap dress.
Love the collection and it’s versatility.

I love Topshop’s make up products! They’re very affordable and of great quality too! Head Over Heels is a true coral cream blush. It’s a very pretty peachy pink. It’s very soft and super blendable. It gives it a very natural tint to the cheeks.
The finish is matte but not powdery at all. It fades quite gracefully as well, no flaking.
When it comes to coral and orange blushes, Topshop has some of the best ones. You can try Neon Rose or Flush if you want something more towards orange. At the price of around Rs. 480 it’s well worth it.
I wish Topshop would ship to India though. The biggest con is the availability.

It’s hard for me to sum up this collection in a few lines. Actually no, I can’t really define it’s style.
There’s partly a nautical trend here and spring. The prints are explicitly floral but still appropriate for resort.
The love the opening blazer. The pleated skirts remind me of my school uniform but of course, these look better. I like the quirky court shoes with the little pom-pom.

Josie Natori’s resort collection has a neon palette with very wearable separates with gold accessories.
I’m not fond of the 3 square gold belt and the blue wedges on all of them. I did like the watercolour silk dress with the gold belt. It looks amazing. The multi colour striped dress is very chic as well.
But other than those, the clothes didn’t really appeal to me.

Even with simple bright colours, Monique Lhuillier has a very captivating collection. There is structure in each dress which enhances appearance as opposed to hiding it.
The opening symmetric print dress is something that’s been seen a lot this season. But with the curved black belt, it’s in a league of it’s own.
I love the perforated shorts with neon lining and a scalloped edge. I like the large print floral dress in lime green and white. The lime green gown with the belt is beautiful. So is the neon orange flared skirt gown. These are definite red carpet...

Kelly Wearstler’s animal print inspired collection has a lot of fun and young looks. There are graphics and intricate prints in very flattering silhouettes.
I like the very first sharp teeth top in black and white. The attached clutch is very cute as well. I liked the yellow and black broadly striped dress. There is a looseness about the dress that makes it very casual. A definite bold look.
I’m not too fond of the army print skirt but I like the pants version of it.
Even for people who don’t like wearing animal prints (yes they do exist), this might be very inviting to try out as it isn’t so...
