Just Swatches : Revlon Lip Butters

Just Swatches : Revlon Lip Butters

Welcome to the swatchfest! I think Revlon Lip Butters are the bomb and still very affordable now at Rs. 600, as 800 is almost the norm for new lipsticks now. They're sheer, very thin in consistency, lightweight on the lips and very very glossy. Of course, not the most longlasting but these are sheer. not going to say more here since you can read the individual reviews if you are interested in a particular shade. My favourites are Pink Truffle, Raspberry Pie and Juicy Papaya! I think Cotton Candy was a very unnecessary purchase…Read more
Zoya Alegra Nail Polish

Zoya Alegra Nail Polish

Happy Diwali to everyone! Hope you are all gorging on food and getting dolled up in the evenings! Here's a really pretty pink polish, Zoya Alegra. It's one of the formulas that will make you fall in love with Zoya, much like Valerie. It's a deep, almost red on the nails kind of pink. But it has that fuchsia tone to it. It also has a ton of micro shimmer ranging from silver to fuchsia, it also appears a bit gold  or more red toned due to the iridescence. It's quite captivating in person! Colourwise…Read more
Burberry ‘Lip Cover’ Soft Satin Lipstick in Dusty Rose

Burberry ‘Lip Cover’ Soft Satin Lipstick in Dusty Rose

Let's talk lipstick. One of my most prized possessions is this Burberry lipstick which is perfect to the T. Burberry 'Lip Cover' Soft Satin Lipstick in Dusty Rose is from Burberry's range of creamy hydrating lipsticks. Whilst they are similar to your Chanel, YSL in price range, they aren't too mainstream. I think particularly when it comes to neutral shades Burberry has a really great collection for all skintones. Dusty Rose is my kind MLBB, it's a warm medium rose pink. Similar to Mac Cosmo, Mac Fast Play and even Chanel Mademoiselle but…Read more
Korres Holiday in Greece Kit

Korres Holiday in Greece Kit

A while back I purchased this travel size set and I've used quite a few times in the past year. Korres is a Greek Pharmacy brand and I do like their skincare and bath products though I haven't tried a lot before. This set was also a good opportunity to try a bunch of things. Korres Holiday in Greece Kit comes with a shampoo, 2 showergels, 1 body butter and 1 body milk. I do wish there was a conditioner instead of 2 shower gels though. I'm going to do mini reviews of…Read more
Handbag Review : Longchamp Le Pliage Tote Bag in Bilberry

Handbag Review : Longchamp Le Pliage Tote Bag in Bilberry

Today it's going to be a different kind of post. I woke up way too early in the morning to vote and after a heavy breakfast, I have time to kill at 8am. That pretty much only happens when there's a vote. ;) Anytime I want to invest in something more expensive of the handbag variety, I spend days daydreaming about it but also checking on reviews, experiences be it on You Tube or on blogs. I feel I should contribute to the same with my review for the Longchamp Le Pliage bag.…Read more
Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe Nail Polish

Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe Nail Polish

If I had to pick just one kind of makeup out of all to live with, I'd be nail polish. It's my first love and the fact that pretty much any colour will do is what makes it so special. I don't consider myself to be one with the best nails, I spend very little time grooming them. But I do love nail polish, always have. This particular one I've wanted for a very very long time. It was always on my wishlist and I can't tell you how excited I was when I…Read more
Mac Frankly Scarlet Blush

Mac Frankly Scarlet Blush

The weekend is finally here! Hope you all had a good week! Today, I'm reviewing a much loved but sparingly used blush. Mac Frankly Scarlet is probably the scariest blush you'll encounter.  Another blush in this category is Nars Exhibit A but Frankly Scarlet with it's pinky red tone is very unique! You've probably noticed how bright it is. Mac Frankly Scarlet is a powder blush with a matte finish. It's also very pigmented and needs to be used with care to avoid clown cheeks. What I really like is the colour which is very…Read more
Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Winter Wonder

Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Winter Wonder

Winter is coming! The one good thing about Pune is the weather. If you're someone who moves from Mumbai to Pune, it's the first thing you appreciate. I like that I can actually wear scarves and fluffy sweaters! Moving on the same theme is this next nail polish from Sinful Colors, aptly named Winter Wonder. Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Winter Wonder is a really nice holiday shimmer polish. It's a dark steel gray, almost dark blue base with a ton of blue, yellow, green and red shimmer. The shimmer highlighted depends on the lightning though…Read more
Shu Uemura Skin Purifier Whitefficient Clear Brightening Gentle Cleansing Oil

Shu Uemura Skin Purifier Whitefficient Clear Brightening Gentle Cleansing Oil

I love cleansing oils! It's a cleanser and makeup remover in one and it works brilliantly. For the longest time I was using the Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil and I eventually wanted to try something different. I had heard a lot of praises about the Shu Uemura one and decided to get it. While this was an expensive purchase, it's lasted me for so long and it's just the perfect cleansing oil. Before I review, I have to apologize for the appalling photos in this post. I'd already used up and thrown away…Read more
Spring 2015 RTW : Paris Fashion Week : Part Three

Spring 2015 RTW : Paris Fashion Week : Part Three

So this is the final post covering Spring 2015; it's part three (the finale) of Paris Fashion Week and this post is just filled with all the big name fashion houses. I suppose overall, the collections that really stuck with me were The Row, Luisa Beccaria, Etro, Naeem Khan and Erdem. Starting off with Chanel, if you haven't seen it in news already, it was a lovely feminist gesture. But with reference to the actual clothes, I liked that they were simpler silhouettes, relying on colours for the edge. The watercolour print is…Read more
