Batiste Dry Shampoo
I finally managed to get my hands on Batiste again! I had mentioned in my Repurchased Products post that I would be reviewing this soon! I was doing my routine ‘let’s see if this product is available anywhere’ google searches to kill time when I finally found this on Snapdeal!
Here I have Batiste Dry Shampoo, the original one which has that clean citrus scent. It’s a product that just works well. You spray this on your roots which you will then find covered with very very fine white powder. As you massage it (or blend it) it will dissipate in a minute and your hair is as good as new! I have this problem on second day hair where it starts to clump and it’s a big no no for me especially if I’m going out. I put this on my roots and my hair separates, doesn’t look greasy anymore. All is well!
I wouldn’t suggest using this too often. I use this maybe twice a week at the most. You do end up with a lot a product in your hair and overtime it can have some effect. That said, you don’t feel like there’s any product used, it’s a very light spray with no scrunchiness like the drying texturising ones. You also won’t find any white particles on your hair if you’ve used it correctly.
Sprays like these are also a lot of easier to use than just powders like the Lush one. The particles are very fine and even if you accidentally end up with too much powder, you can get rid of it quickly by massaging.
I cannot survive monsoons and summers without this. This is also very hard to find in India and not so easy to find from international sites either due to shipping restrictions and what not.
This is very much overpriced over on Snapdeal but I had a discount code too so I ended up buying it. It was shipped from US from a company called ‘Booyah Chicago’ and I got it in a week. They also have an eBay store so for the time being but I’ll be trying to find a cheaper way to get my hands on this. Otherwise I still have my Lush dry shampoo as backup.
You get this in 100ml, 200ml and 400ml sizes. I got the 200ml one for around Rs.1000 which is a bit overpriced. :/
