Bobbi Brown Corrector in Peach

I love long weekends. It was Saturday yesterday and it just hit me that I have 3 more free days. Feels like a vacation! :)

Moving on, today I’ll be reviewing this Corrector from Bobbi Brown. I saw a lot of hype about this product and I was looking a corrector cum concealer I could wear under sheer foundations and the like.

Bobbi Brown Corrector in Peach is a very light yellow based peach colour. It’s not your usual orange corrector but it does the job well for me. It’s a bit sheer when blended but it is buildable.

It’s very very creamy when you first touch it but it translates a bit matte on the skin. If your eye area is not moisturised it can look dry and patchy. This is the only thing I didn’t like about it. But I’m guessing this wouldn’t be a problem for people with oily skin. You also need a really tiny amount on your finger to blend. This pot is tiny and will last a long time.

I’ve put a before-after picture below and you can see that it hides all the coloured veins and dark discolouration below my eye. At the same time, as this colour is lighter than my skin tone it makes the area brighter but it doesn’t look ashy or have a whitecast. If I go over this with a concealer or foundation, it looks seamless with the rest of my skin and brighter under the eye at the same time.

This still adapts to the texture of your skin and doesn’t make the eye area look too obvious like you’ve used concealer. I can never fully get rid of darkness below my eyes because they’re hereditary and due to my eye shape there is always a shadow formed there. But this helps in making me look more awake!!

I’ve worn this typically for 8 hour days and it lasts well on me. When I’m back my foundation and concealer are pretty much the same as when I put them on so I didn’t notice any flaking or fading.

I like using this best when I’ll be using a tinted moisturiser or a sheer foundation over my face. I don’t want to cake on too much concealer either and this conceals it well enough to not too stark against my skintone. And lastly, this photographs well, no whiteness under the eye.

There are a lot of colours in this range but I would really suggest Peach if you have a medium skin tone. For darker skintone there’s also a Deep Peach shade. If you’re pale and Peach is too orange for you, Bisque is a neat shade to go for.

You get 1.4g of product for around Rs. 1400. I’m not sure of the exact pricing in India, I had bought this abroad. I also like the cute tiny packaging. Glad this comes with a tiny mirror as well!

I took the before after photos away from direct light because sometimes that can cause the before photo to wash out. Hence the shadows.

I tried it in the store but sadly it didn’t work for me. It creased horribly on me and so did the corrector to be used afterwards :(
I am glad it worked for you :)

I tried this in KL and was matched to Dark Peach..did quite like it but I definitely need a concealer on top to even out my skin tone or else it looked bit too orange since I have strong yellow under tones..def its in my wish list

Yea, I generally need either foundation or a concealer over it. :)
