Mid-week crisis is upon me and I’m lagging behind with my posts. I’m hoping things will stabilize but next weekend and I’ll be ahead of the curve rather than desperately trying to keep up with my schedule.
A very odd nail polish colour for you here. Might not be everyone’s favourite but it’s certainly unique! Butter London No More Waity Kaity has the unusual combination of lilac glitter in a grey creme base. Yes, that exactly.
The formula isn’t very opaque as I hoped it would be. It takes 3-4 sheer coats to get an even opaque look like below. It looks glossy but the glitter has a texture which comes through. A topcoat should solve that though if you prefer a smooth finish.
Unfortunately this polish chipped more easily than some of the other Butter London polishes that I’ve tried. Still, 4-5 days isn’t bad, but it isn’t stellar as I’ve come to expect from the brand.
If you like these unusual nail colours, you’ll be hard pressed to find a similar shade. What I really like about the colour is how bright the lilac is, it isn’t darkened by the grey.
You get 11ml of product for $15 (around Rs. 900) which isn’t cheap but in this case the colour makes up for it. The packaging is also really sturdy and I like the horizontal shape (similar to H&M polishes). If you’re in the US buying this from Ulta during the 2 for $15 is the best way to get your hands on them.
