Okay. Stop reading this, scroll down and look at the pictures, then come back up.
Amazing right? It’s just so SO darn pretty! My love for Butter London polishes grew exponentially after applying this polish.
Rosie Lee is a glitter polish in a deep rose coppery gold colour and metallic. The glitter is small in size and very dense in a clear base.
One layer is sheer but you get opaque coverage with 2-3 coats. The layers are thin in consistency so they also dry quickly. This is how all glitter polishes should be.
The finish is glossy but looks better with a topcoat. It also wears very well. Lasted on me for a week with no major chipping. The smaller glitter size also makes this easier to take off, compared to chunky glitter polishes.
Colour wise, I don’t really have any other polishes to compare this to. The colour and the fact that it’s a metallic glitter, makes it really unique.
I love the Butter London packaging, the brush is also a good medium sized width. You get 11ml of product for $15, which is around Rs. 920.
Butter London polishes are not readily available in India. I’ve come across two Indian sites where you can buy them, Urban Shore and Elitify (links below) but they are a bit overpriced. If you’re in the US then the best place to buy them is at Ulta when they have 2 for $15.
