Been a while since I did a make up post hasn’t it? I’ve been struggling to keep up with the fashion week posts. But more of those to come soon! But for now, let’s focus on this yummy polish! It’s a really fun colour for summer if you don’t want neon.
China Glaze’s Strawberry Fields is a gorgeous pink nail polish loaded with gold microshimmer. It looks amazing, I love how the intensity of the shimmer varies depending on light. The pink is like a bright fuschia, it’s more blue toned. The gold really shows through when it catches the light. The consistency of this polish is a bit of a mix. It’s quite thin but it isn’t sheer. You do however need 2 coats for an opaque finish.
The end result is a glossy smooth pink shimmery polish. The microshimmer is very fine and well packed in the polish in terms of density. I think that’s what makes the thin polish not so sheer. This lasted me for almost a week. It started chipping at the ends on the 5th day.
The packaging is a sturdy glass bottle and it comes with a medium width brush. The brush cover being textured gives a good grip.
At Rs.450 it’s a bit pricey but you get 14ml and awesomeness so it’s a steal. I really really love the quality of China Glaze polishes. I do wish the brushes were wider though. I’m so glad China Glaze is cropping up on more indian beauty sites. Flipkart carries it, stylecraze and so many more.
