I’m back after a long break! Thought I’d start with one of my favourite polishes at the moment.

Colorbar’s nail polishes come in a pretty good colour range and price as well. You can find them easily in malls or online sites. Today, I’m reviewing Apple Martini which is a bright emerald green. I should warn you that the photos are more blue toned than the polish really is. The polish has a yellow/blue undertone to it but the photos came out with more blue in them. Some neons or brights look a bit odd on darker skintones, this one is suits them quite well. The colour is quite pretty. For those who don’t like wearing the pastel mint green or neon greens, I’d recommend trying this.

I’d say this is kinda a dupe for China Glaze’s Four Leaf Clover. This one has a more yellow undertone to it and is more muted.

The consistency is quite thin but the formula is quite superb and very different from what I’ve encountered before. Despite being thin and a bit runny, the polish applies evenly. It takes just 1-2 coats for a opaque coverage. The finish is quite glossy but I’d recommend wearing a top coat so that it lasts long.

This lasts well for 3-4 days before it starts chipping. Wearing it with a top coat extends its durability.

The brush it comes with is your standard narrow brush. The packaging is quite adequate and sturdy. The brush handle is long enough for ease in application. At a 95-120 rupees price range, this polish is well worth it.

Photos and swatches below!

All photos below are taken with flash. Please keep in mind that the actual polish is more yellow based than it appears here. I didn’t manage to get true colours with my camera.
