Hey guys, today I’ll be reviewing one of Inglot’s eye shadows. It’s a pearl finish called 426. I’ve gone on about this many times but can I just say how terrible it is that none of these have non-numeric names? A lot more brain cells died when I tried to recall this name.
Anyway, 426 is a really gorgeous blue in a pearl finish. I leave it just at that because to me, it’s like that true blue which is not too yellow or green but smack in the middle of the spectrum. It looks a little bit lighter on the lid than it does in the pan, it’s probably due to the pearlescence.
The quality of this eyeshadow is amazing. It’s very pigmented. It’s a lot harder for colours like these to show up true to the actual shade on deeper skintones but it looks exactly like it should on mine, without a primer too. I’ve also used it in this tutorial if you’d like a better look.
This goes on the lid very smoothly, the eyeshadow stays where it’s applied and doesn’t move around. It’s also very easy to blend. It’s very fine and doesn’t have any chunky or powdery bits. Obviously, this is not a colour I where often, but I generally do wear on night outs and it lasts really well. It stays put, doesn’t crease and easily lasts 6-8 hours.
This also fades gradually, it doesn’t fall out or leave out patches.
This has been said before, but Inglot is a really good and cheaper alternative to Mac eyeshadows. Especially makes sense when buying colours like these which you may not use everyday. You get 2.55g in the refill pan for Rs. 300.
