I wanted to try L’occitane hair products a few months back. I picked the L’occitane Volumizing Conditioner which I think is from the Aromachologie range.
Firstly, this is a very gentle and mild conditioner meant for fine and normal hair. If you have very thick and dense hair it might seem like you need too much of this product to make it work. I say that because I have fine hair and even I feel like the need to use more conditioner than I usually do.
The conditioner is white in colour and lotion like in consistency. It’s thinner than your average conditioner. This has a very pleasant fragrance which a bit citrusy and minty. I do like that a lot!
This does condition hair to a degree but you don’t get that silky tamed hair kind of feeling you’d get with most conditioners. I guess the idea behind it is to not wear the hair down and make it light, but I’ve used better conditioners. This also doesn’t detangle my hair. Fine hair tends to get into knots quite easily and a conditioner that does the same is so much better than using another detangler later on, you just end up adding so many more products to you hair that way.
This doesn’t weigh my hair down at all, since it’s so light but it doesn’t really volumize it either. I think if you want to use a conditioner with natural ingredients, you might want to try this. You can see the ingredients below.
The packaging is also quite nice. You get 250ml for Rs. 1250. Frankly, I’m not too impressed with it, I prefer something that would also detangle my hair and make it smoother. I’m still trying to use this up by using it maybe once a week when my hair is behaving well, but I won’t be buying this again.
