I’ve been on a blush craze lately. I’ve been loving Sunbasque for the past few months; been wearing it a lot!
So I’m reviewing Mac’s Sunbasque blush today. You get a lot of types in mac blushes. Matte which is very pigmented, sheertone , frost, satin and sheertone shimmer which is sheer and has shimmer. However, all the sheer blushes I’ve experienced do have buildable coverage.
Sunbasque is a sheertone shimmer. It’s muted orange brown colour. I’d call it a bronze with gold shimmer. The shimmer is very subtle and not so noticible in daylight. With flash it seems to be more apparent. The colour is very warm and gives a nice glow to the cheeks. When you don’t want to use a bronzer, this is a good alternative as its not that strong.
It stays on for 5-6 hours which is pretty great. It goes on really smoothly and it’s very easy to blend. It looks really natural and pretty. It’s not a very in your face colour.
It’s a sheer blush but the coverage is buildable. It blends really easily and the shimmer doesn’t travel all over your face, it stays put!
I’d say the only con is that it’s too expensive. But these blushes last for 2-3 years and with 6g product you really wouldn’t need to repurchase it very often. The packaging is pretty sturdy. I wish Mac blushes came with a mirror though. Very handy on the go.
