First off, I get so confused with Maybelline’s different ranges of nail polish. They all look the same packaging wise but the formula differs so much. The Forever Strong Pro line has amazing formula but unfortunately I couldn’t find this in any Indian online store. I had bought this colour from boots and I simply love it.
Really Rosy is one of the most wearable pinks for skintones like mine. It’s a warm-toned bright magenta pink but slightly muted. It’s not so-bright-it-hurts my eyes but a very soothing pink. I rarely wear pinks on my hands but this one I use the most. It’s a good dupe for OPI Grand Canyon.
The polish is thick in consistency and very creamy. I know people prefer thinner ones. But I like thick consistencies as long as it’s easy to make it even and move it around. This one ticks all those boxes. It applies very evenly and 1 coat is enough to give a good opaque look.
The finish is very creamy and can look dull but less shine. You definitely need a topcoat to make this more attractive. It lasts for 5-6 days with minor tip wear. I suppose if you didn’t lift a finger, it would stay true to its 7 day claim.
The packaging is similar to the 40seconds Maybelline range. It had a wider slim glass bottle and a tall brush. The width of a the brush is somewhere in between of OPI and China Glaze. It’s very easy to work with.
At Rs. 150-200 and 10ml of product, this is one of the most value for money ranges I’ve come across. I wish they had a broader colour range though.
