John Frieda Frizz Ease Shampoo and Conditioner

I’d been dying to try the John Frieda Frizz Ease range. I finally managed to get my hands on it a few months ago. To review it properly, I will need to explain what my hair is like. Needless to say but the review and results would be different if your hair is drastically different to mine.

I have dry hair. Really dry hair but oily roots. In winters, static can make my hair stand up 90 degrees (happens when I’m taking off woollen jumpers). My hair is naturally wavy and fine. I like keeping volume to my hair which is why at the first sign of greasiness I have the urge to just shampoo again. So while my hair and ends are dry, my scalp and roots are quite oily and turn greasy 2-3 days after shampooing.

With that said, I’ll talk about the shampoo first and then the conditioner.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Hydrating Shampoo

It makes my hair really soft. I do notice that my hair isn’t too dry like it was with the previous shampoos I used. At Rs.425 and the amount of product you get, it’s well worth it.
The top of my head has fine hair which tends to frizz. I feel that to an extent, it has reduced. Will definitely buying another one of this. It has a inbetween frangrance. Not too fruity or floral, but similar to green apple.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Hydrating Conditioner

Like any conditioner, it does its job. My hair is instantly detangled and feels very silky and soft. I have noticed that my split ends have reduced. It also has the fruity green apple scent to it. Since I have oily roots I only apply this from mid length of my hair till my ends, concentrating more on the ends. As I’m growing out my hair, its helped in keeping my ends moisturized. Like the shampoo, it costs around 500 bucks which I think is pretty ok for the quantity and the work it does.

I also have Frizz Ease serum but I haven’t used it enough to form ┬ádefinitive review. Will put that up after a few weeks. Let me know what hair care products work for you!
