Hey guys! I had picked up this lip gloss a few months ago. Revlon’s Colorburst Lip Gloss range is the best even it comes to quality and value for money. I also have the shades Papaya and Rose Gold. Sunset Peach also lives up to the hype!
Sunset Peach in the tube is a light peach with gold and silver shimmer. It’s definitely a sheer lip gloss, not as pigmented as others in the range. It doesn’t transfer too much colour on the lips. For very pigmented lips, unless you just want that light glossy effect, this won’t really impart much colour. Hence this is best used layered over a lipstick if you want to add more shimmer or warm up the colour.
I love using this over nude lipsticks, it just looks more polished and with adds more warmth as well. If you have a really bright lipstick and want to tone it down a notch, this can come in quite handy as well.
This wears well for 4 hours if you don’t eat or drink too much. If you wear it on a night out for some occasion, you will need to touch up.
It goes on very smoothly, it doesn’t feel too thick or gloopy. It spreads evenly and that’s what I like the most about it. I just hate it when you put a lot of gloss and so much time has to be spent in changing it around so that it appears even.
The consistency is gel like and medium in thickness; the shimmer is very fine. You don’t really feel any roughness, it’s very smooth.
The packaging is quite good. The black cover is good for holding the doe footed brush and it’s easy to travel with as well.
You get 5.9ml of product for around Rs. 500 which is pretty reasonable.
