Revlon nail polishes never really caught my eye until they started coming up with dupes for Deborah Lipmann polishes! More on that later but for now, I’m reviewing the shade Naughty.
Naughty is a dark purple and charcoal grey duochrome polish. It also has very fine purple microshimmer which can be detected under direct light. It does look slightly pearlescent as well. However, the duochrome is subtle and not very stark like some other shades. Even so, you get a nice effect of purple in the middle and gray on the sides.
The polish is very pigmented and creamy. You need one or two coats for an opaque look. They also apply evenly and there’s not streakiness or bubbling. I’m very happy with it, quality wise!
The consistency is thin but not runny, very easy to work with. The finish is very glossy but after 3 days it kind of loses its sheen a bit. It’s best to use a topcoat.
This also lasted well for the week with some chipping on the sides. I’d say it was perfect for 4-5 days and then there was tip wear.
The nail polish is one of the more affordable ones at Rs. 150 for 8g of product. This shade in particular is very unique because of the duochrome, well worth it if you like dark purple-y shades.
Revlon Naughty is also a dupe for quite a few nail polishes like Chanel Paradoxal (comparison here) and Sinful Colors Who’s the Gloss! Revlon Naughty is also a re-release of an old Revlon shade called Perplexed.
