This nail polish might burn your eyes! I never thought I’d buy a colour like this and I confess that I’m only brave enough to wear this on my toes. But it looks so damn good!!
Rimmel polishes comes in different ranges. This is from the 60 Seconds line. It’s only Rs.220 and the colours and quality is top notch!
Pulsating is a uber bright red/pinky polish with a blue undertone. It has a bright fuchsia sheen and very fine pink microshimmer. That’s what gives it such a bright in your face look. It’s one of those purple fuchsia shades. Basically, it’s Mac Snow Orchid in a nail polish.
The finish is a bit of pearl but very high in shine. You don’t really need a topcoat on this other than extending the wear time. This goes on the nail very smoothly and applies evenly. You need about 2 coats to get a nice opaque look though.
The consistency is thin but not runny. It’s perfect and what I like best is the brush which is wide and really easy to work with. You get a nice even look with just 2 strokes.
This lasts well for 4 days on my nails without a topcoat. There is minor tipwear but other than that I have no issues with the quality. Those who love wearing brights will really love this colour! I mainly like it because it is so blue toned. Most of the bright fuchsias are warmer.
Price wise, it’s Rs. 220 but for 8ml. Most 15ml ones are around Rs. 500 so one a price per ml basis it isn’t really all that different. But if you’re buying a colour that you won’t use a lot, this is a better buy.
