Hope you all had a great Christmas! I was out all day but I ate a lot of cake at the end of the day! ^_^
I love brushes from Sigma but I never really looked into their makeup products. The Creme De Couture collection came out and I was sold. This is one of the three blushes from the collection. You can see rest of the collection and swatches here.
The blush Cherry Apple is a really flattering peachy pink shade. On the pan it looks more like a deep coral pink but when you swatch it, the colour is a tinge lighter. Out of the three blushes, this one suits me the most and is definitely flattering on all skin tones.
It’s a matte powder blush but it gives a very natural flush and the blush is very soft to use as well. The blush is very fine and smooth when you touch it. Not too powdery or chalky.
Pigmentation wise it’s quite good. You get medium pigmentation which can be sheered out while blending to give a more natural look. If you’re going for a heavy look, it’s definitely buildable.
This lasts well for 5-6 hours on me and fades overtime. Very good for daywear and is a good cheap alternative if you want a good matte blush.
The packaging is very adorable in the mint and pink little box. Despite the cuteness, I don’t really like cardboard style boxes. It’s delicate and can’t really travel with it. Even so, this blush is very much worth it! You get 3.5g of product for $12.
