Sleek Blush by 3 in Lace

I had seen people rave so much about Sleek Makeup and I really wanted to try something from them. I definitely didn’t need eye shadows although their palettes are gorgeous! I opted for the Blush By 3. Three blushes and so cheap, why not! Plus, I can carry this with me when I travel, I get an option of 3 blushes in this compact case.

I’m reviewing Sleek Blush by 3 in the shade(s) Lace. It has 3 colours – Crochet, Guipure and Chantilly. It’s a nice mix of matte and shimmer blushes.

Crochet : This is a matte peachy orange colour. It’s not bright orange like Nars Taj Mahal but not as pastel as Mac Peaches. This falls somewhere in the middle and imparts a nice peachy colour. This is very pigmented. You really need a light hand while applying this or you might end up with a very orange cheek. It’s very similar to Sleek Pan Tao, a bit more yellow though.

Guipure : I’d like to say it’s the same realm as Nars Orgasm but I can’t really compare. It’s a very peachy pink, leaning more on the orange side with a brilliant gold sheen. This is a shimmer/pearl blush and looks so gorgeous. The shimmer is very fine and doesn’t spread all over your face. This blush is pigmented but definitely easier to use than the other two since the colour is not very bright. Sleek Rose Gold has a similar amount of gold shimmer but is more pink imo. This is also more peachy than Nars Deep Throat or Tarte Glisten.

Chantilly : This is also a matte blush in a warm coral pink shade. I don’t think I have anything like this shade. When blended it’s more of a deep pinky orange. I really love this shade. Gives a very natural flush.

The blushes are very soft and easy to blend. I’d say these give medium coverage in terms of pigmentation when used lightly. They can easily build up to a more intense look.

These stay on for 5-6 hours which isn’t the best I’ve encountered with blushes but still quite good. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase. They kind of fade evenly over time.

As a palette I think it’s suited to all skintones and the quality is really good. At the price of $12 it’s really hard to fault it. The packaging is great, I like the big mirror that comes with it. You get 20g total of product so that’s about 6g individually which is a lot!
