The Body Shop Glazed Apple Range

The best thing about having friends who celebrate Christmas is getting to eat the lovely cakes they bake. On that note, hope you all had a lovely Christmas/holidays. :)

The Body Shop recently released limited edition ranges : Glazed Apple, Frosted Cranberry and Vanilla Brulee. I was all over the Glazed Apple range. I was running out of my Blueberry Body Butter anyway, it was perfect timing. I’ve used these for the last 2-3 weeks, so these are mini reviews. They’re still available on the main website.

Glazed Apple Body Butter

I love the scent, it reminds of winter candy apple but more towards green apple. I wish the scent was stronger though. Compared to Blueberry and Vineyard Peach Body Butters, I do find this mild. The body butter itself is amazing. It’s soft, thick, spreads easily and sinks in within a few minutes. It leaves the skin really moisturized which lasts all day.

Glazed Apple Hand Cream

The hand cream is pretty great as well. It sinks in easily, has a non greasy formula and keeps moisturized for a few hours. I generally don’t need to reapply this more than twice or thrice in a day (mainly after I wash my hands). In comparison to the L’occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream, it’s lighter and absorbs easily. Above all, the scent is lovely.

Amount : 30ml
Price : Rs. 495

Glazed Apple Body Polish

I’ve only used this twice but I do like it. It’s not as abrasive as the Shea Body Scrub (which I really like). The pumice and walnut shell particles are very fine, it’s a mild exfoliator but does a decent job of sloughing off dry dead skin. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling completely dry but it’s not as moisturising as some of the other body scrubs. Again, I love the apple scent. Using this and the body butter is so refreshing in the morning.

Glazed Apple sounds delicious. I love Cranberries though so I have to see if I can still find that line somewhere.

I’ve never actually tried their Cranberry line, maybe next year when they bring it out. :)

I keep thinking I should pop into The Body Shop and keep forgetting about it! This sounds lovely, but I THINK I’ll like the vanilla one more. Also, have you seen the cute polar bear/penguin sponges? WANT!

My mom got stuff from the Vanilla line, loves it!
I saw them but decided against getting them, they’re cute though! :)

I swear I could smell the hand cream through my computer. LOL. I love the smell of anything green apple so this is a must-sniff at least! I don’t like the L’Occitane Shea one at all. I find it too thick and the scent does not get along with me. I like their other scents, though.

I might have drier hands because I love the Shea one in winter!
