Hello people, I’m back with a nail polish review. It’s from my favourite brand Zoya. Is everyone enjoying the monsoons. Although what’s happening in Uttarkhand is terrible and I hope your friends and family are safe. I had visited Mussorie a few months back and it was really lovely.
I had seen Zoya Amminah in a lot of swatches but somehow always deferred buying it. It has this iridescent sheen that looks so lovely and subtle. When I finally got it, it was neutral colour I could wear often but I’m not too happy with the quality.
Amminah is a a sheer milky white polish with a violet iridescent sheen. It looks so subtle and lovely. It’s a very feminine polish that looks ideal for spring or occasions if you don’t want to wear baby pink.
It’s consistency is thin but not very runny. I didn’t find the application very even. It settles on the sides and you generally require 2-3 coats to make it look even and opaque. This chips more easily than any other Zoya polish I’ve tried as well. It could probably be due to the sheerness but I wasn’t immensely happy with the quality. It stays on well for 2-3 days and then there is more tip wear than usual. So, I definitely recommend using a topcoat over this.
I still wear this is a lot because the colour is so pretty but I tend to reapply it midweek.
Zoya is easily available online and I like their cream and shimmer polishes the most. You can see some of the other Zoya polishes I’ve reviewed here.
