I know, I know, you’re tired of reading about Zoyas on this blog. But I’ve been determined to review them all this year! I think I’m almost there, here’s the handy Zoya Swatch Post.
Zoya Caitlin is a really pretty periwinkle blue with silver shimmer running through it. The shimmer also shows up well and evenly on the nail, it’s a very winter shade.
In the not-so-large spectrum of periwinkle blues, this one is slightly muted while China Glaze Secret Periwinkle is just a little bit brighter. I often find that shades like these are normally too pastel for me, they look great on my toes but not so much on my hands. This shade is very flattering though.
The formula is thin which doesn’t streak, applies evenly and dries quickly. You need 2-3 coats to get it opaque. It’s also quite glossy on it’s own but as always a topcoat wouldn’t hurt.
Caitlin does chip on my tips a bit more easily but overall I get a decent 5-6 day wear out of it.
Hope you all have a great weekend! I’m going to have a nice mulled wine and catch up session tonight! ^_^
