Zoya Robyn Nail Polish

Today, I’ll be sharing with you one of my treasure trove purchases! You see, for the vast majority of my life I’ve been a person who only wore silver or black nail polish. No, I wasn’t a goth but I did like my black polish and clung to it with my dear life!

Now I was very intrigued by Zoya as I had just heard a lot about the brand and was on a major hauling spree (bad!). I saw this particular one and it just called out to me! It’s such a pretty bright blue! Robyn also happens to be my very first blue nail polish!

I had never tried Zoya before and I was very nervous about how it would turn out. The formulation is excellent! No streaking, it spreads evenly. It’s creamy but not very thick in consistency. It’s just perfect. It made me fall in love with Zoya. Now this post is getting far too mushy for my liking so I’ll get back to business!

It’s a really bright true blue. It’s balanced in the sense that it isn’t too yellow based or green based. I don’t know why but I just love wearing this on my toes. It’s not really neon, but it is bright and will catch anyone’s attention. It gives opaque coverage in one coat but I use two just to even it out all. As I mentioned, the formula is really good.

This typically lasts 4-5 days without chipping other than minor tip wear.

Zoya polishes come in a sturdy glass bottle with a narrow brush. I’d say it’s similar to China Glaze’s brush. You get 15ml of product for around 500 bucks. If you hunt for the right deal, you can get it for 420 as well.

This is such a beautiful color. I tend to only buy really cheap polish as it never lasts on me, and I never finish a bottle. Might have to change that though if this lasts 5 days!

I agree, it’s much more economical if it’s not a colour you wear often. But Zoya has also worn very well for me. :)
