My love for my Zoyas is pretty well documented here, today I’m reviewing a brilliant shade called Trixie.
Most of favorite Zoya polishes are either creme or dense microshimmers. This one clearly falls in the later and oh boy, it gives beautiful metallic foil like effect which is very reflective. As you might have guessed, it’s a silver microshimmer polish. I also like there’s no other tone to it like yellow or blue, it’s straight up bright silver.
The base is actually a bit sheer with very very dense microshimmer. Hence, you need multiple coats to get a good even opaque look. It’s best to use 3-4 thin coats (which dry quicker) to get a nice even look. The consistency of the polish is thin and using a lot can result in pooling and unevenness.
Once dried, this looks so reflective and smooth, it’s a lovely semi glossy finish which looks even better with a topcoat.
It lasts fairly well for a week with only minor tipwear. The brush you get is medium which isn’t my favorite but still easy to work with. You get 15ml of product for around $8 ~ Rs. 500.
Zoya isn’t that easily available in India. You can find it on Purplle but the collections are very incomplete. I like buying mine from eBay. Some of them like Trixie were purchased when I was abroad, so bought them directly from other sites.

Have a lovely weekend guys! ^_^
