Tresemme Vitamin B5 & Aloe Remoisturising Conditioner

Tresemme Vitamin B5 & Aloe Remoisturising Conditioner

Tresemme has officially launch in India with three new lines. Before they did, you randomly saw shampoo's and conditioners from lines in other countries. At that time, I happened to buy The Vitamin B5 and Aloe Remoisturising Conditioner. The conditioner contains vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid). I'm not sure the exact benefits of this in hair care so I won't go on about this. Aloe is generally used to moisturize dry hair and is an ingredient worth note (unlike vitamin B5). I generally just tend to rely on how well with works with my…Read more

September 2012 Favourites

This comes late on the schedule but these are products I reached out for last month. I'm in love with OPI Parlez Vous. It's such a beautiful colour!           01. Dry Shampoo : Lush : No Drought It's getting warmer and hotter and I so need this on second day hair. It smells lovely and I'm really loving the powder application more than sprays.   02. Lipstick : Revlon : Colorburst in Peach It's a light coral colour. It's looks great. I wish it was a bit more moisturizing though.   03. Eyeshadow : NYX…Read more

Redken Hair Cleansing Cream Shampoo

I think a clarifying shampoo is very important in a hair care routine. For everyday shampoos it's best to use a mild one. However, over the week you do get a lot of built up of product in your hair. Especially if you live in hot and humid climates. It's good to use a strong shampoo that just cleanses everything once every week or fortnight. I clarifying shampoo does just that (or is supposed to! ) I don't use a lot of hairspray other than my heat protectant. But I use a dry…Read more
Toni and Guy Refresh-it Dry Shampoo

Toni and Guy Refresh-it Dry Shampoo

It's good to see more dry shampoos out in the Indian market. I few months ago I tried the Toni and Guy dry shampoo. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is the only dry shampoo available in Toni and Guy's line of hair products. Since this is my first review about a dry shampoo I'll go into a little more detail as to what it's really about. Dry shampoo is essentially a white powder when absorbs oil in your hair, gives it a but if texture and hence giving the appearance of…Read more

Tigi Catwalk Haute Iron Spray

Tigi's Haute Iron Spray is from the Catwalk collection. This spray is a detangler and heat protectant. At 200 ml you get a lot of product that lasts for a good few months. I've had mine for ages. I'm not a 100% happy with this product. I feel that it weighs down my hair and I feel like the texture of my hair doesn't feel soft after I've used this. Since this works well for detangling, I use this on the ends of my hair since more heat goes there. My ends are also…Read more

April 2012 Favourites

It's for the April favourites! I've started using tinted moisturizers even more, since its summer. But other than that there are a few products I discovered this month that I LOVE!! Onto the list then!     01. Dry Shampoo : Toni & Guy : Refreshing Dry Shampoo I very curious to dry this out. I don't want to shampoo my hair everyday and this makes second day hair look a lot better. I don't think this is the best result but it does soak up some of the greasiness. 02. Tinted Moisturizer…Read more

Wishlist : April 2012

This month I've been eyeing quite a few things. I'm to haul less but I'm inching closer to an Inglot haul. Lately, I've been finding so many things I want from them. The AMC Lip Gloss is something I want to try! Before I start rambling, there's the list! 01. This dress from Zara is so perfect for spring! The colour and print are fun and yet not super bright. I love the black peter pan collar along with the tie-up. It looks really cute! 02. I've been trying out dry shampoos…Read more

March 2012 Favourites

It's the time of the month! I mean, to err... talk about my favourites! The products mentioned below are not only the most used this month but also what I would reach out for the most on occasion. Onto the list! But a pretty picture first. ; 01. Concealer : MAC : Moisture Select Concealer : NW35 I have panda eyes. Although, that doesn't make me look cute! To be very honest, if I completely cover them with heavy concealer, it just looks really unnatural. I think that to look a bit natural,…Read more

Tresemme Heat Defence Styling Spray

Using a heat protectant is so important!! I hate it when salons don't use it either! So anyway, I have tried many and I keep coming back to this. It's not easily available in India and I can't ship it from overseas. The store where I usually buy it doesn't always stock it. So currently, I'm using Tigi. The packging is really good. The nozzle has a lock, so its travel friendly. I like the long handle spray rather than the press down aerosol ones. That way I dont have to check where…Read more
John Frieda Frizz Ease Shampoo and Conditioner

John Frieda Frizz Ease Shampoo and Conditioner

I'd been dying to try the John Frieda Frizz Ease range. I finally managed to get my hands on it a few months ago. To review it properly, I will need to explain what my hair is like. Needless to say but the review and results would be different if your hair is drastically different to mine. I have dry hair. Really dry hair but oily roots. In winters, static can make my hair stand up 90 degrees (happens when I'm taking off woollen jumpers). My hair is naturally wavy and fine. I…Read more
