17 True Blue Nail Polish

17 is a brand I picked up at Boots one day. It's cheap and I liked the navy blue colour. The colour is True Blue but it's actually more like a true navy blue. The polish itself is a bit too thick I feel. I am reviewing this after  along time, so the consistency might have become thicker over time. But it's not stellar. At £2.99 you get 8ml which is pretty good value for money. It's stays on relatively long, around 4 days before it starts chipping. The drying time is quick too.…Read more

May 2012 Favourites

May was all about wearing coral-ey colours and light makeup. Wearing too much makeup in this heat is unbearable!! You don't necessarily want things that stay on all day. I do wash my face from time to time. But I want products that fade well and don't leave a mess.     On to this month's favourites! 01. Perfume : Bvlgari :  Pour Femme This was in last month's favourites too but I love it's floral scent. Sadly, this bottle is empty now and I'll be moving on to another mini perfume. 02. Face Mist :…Read more

Inglot XL7 and Filthy Gorgeous in Twilight

So finally, a review of the highly esteemed Inglot XL7. The beauty of those pretty blue glitters is very hard to notice when worn bare (which I like all the same). I've used a Filthy Gorgeous black polish named 'twilight' as a base. I'll talk about XL7 first. It's pretty much worth the money I think. I haven't found glitter polish in the exact shades of blue glitter as this, which if you know me at all, you should know that I LOVE blue polishes. The shimmers are blue, light blue and silver…Read more

Inglot and Clothing Haul

I was early waiting for this to arrive! This haul is a bit of clothing I bought over the last 2 months and an Inglot haul as well! I finally bought XL7!! I'm so happy with it. I love the blue shimmer, I can stare it it all day... Pictures first and all talk later!                   Ze items - 01. Nail Polish : Inglot : XL7 I'm in love with this already! I can't stop staring at the pretty blue glitters! I've already worn this…Read more

Zoya Lisa Nail Polish

Zoya's Lisa is recently hauled and I love it! It's a bright red colour that's blue based with red and gold microshimmer. It really brightens up when it catches the light. It's very creamy in consistency inspite of the micro shimmer. It gives an opaque finish in just one coat or 2; depends how to apply it. I'm so pleased with the quality! I'm not a fan of bright red polish on my fingers, but I love having this on my toes. The brush isn't very wide but workable. I'm more comfortable with…Read more

Faces Shimmer Peach Nail Polish

This is the first nail polish I bought and I'm so thrilled with it! Peach Shimmer is a very unique shade that isn't too orange or too pale. It's a sheer polish with lots of silver shimmer. It's universally flattering whether you use it over another polish, or by itself. The consistency isn't too thick or creamy. It's more like a peach tinted topcoat with shimmer that dries super fast. It applies very smoothly, no streakiness at all. In the photos I've applied 2 coats, 3 on some. I didn't want it to be…Read more

Wishlist : April 2012

This month I've been eyeing quite a few things. I'm to haul less but I'm inching closer to an Inglot haul. Lately, I've been finding so many things I want from them. The AMC Lip Gloss is something I want to try! Before I start rambling, there's the list! 01. This dress from Zara is so perfect for spring! The colour and print are fun and yet not super bright. I love the black peter pan collar along with the tie-up. It looks really cute! 02. I've been trying out dry shampoos…Read more

Sephora It’s Time to Rock Nail Polish

I'm in love with this polish!! It's so shimmery with different coloured glitter; you can look at it all day! I was at Sephora in Singapore and I ended up buying a few polishes. I'm really happy with the quality!  This shade is 'It's time to rock'. It's a gun metal black with blue, pink and silver shimmer. It needs two coats to become opaque. I like the brush that comes with it; the width is larger and I find it easier to apply. It lasts 4-5 days until it chips. It also dries…Read more

March 2012 Favourites

It's the time of the month! I mean, to err... talk about my favourites! The products mentioned below are not only the most used this month but also what I would reach out for the most on occasion. Onto the list! But a pretty picture first. ; 01. Concealer : MAC : Moisture Select Concealer : NW35 I have panda eyes. Although, that doesn't make me look cute! To be very honest, if I completely cover them with heavy concealer, it just looks really unnatural. I think that to look a bit natural,…Read more

China Glaze Four Leaf Clover

When Mulberry Alexa exploded on the scene, I wanted the watermelon one so badly!! Instead, I bought China Glaze Four Leaf Clover! The colour is a total dupe! And I love it! When it comes to spring colours, I love pastel colour but I don't think they look that good with my skin tone. Instead the slightly darker bright colours suit me more. This is definitely one of them! I have to give you a warning though, the colouring in the photographs is slightly off. I tried with 3 different cameras and all…Read more
