Clinique All About Eyes Rich Cream

Clinique All About Eyes Rich Cream

Hello there! I've gone almost 10 days without posting and that's very irregular for this blog! My work load has changed dramatically over the last month and there are a lot of personal engagements and travel in the months ahead as well. For a while things will be less structured schedule wise. I had my big skincare routine talk this month and one of the products I've been using is the Clinique All About Eyes Rich cream. I wasn't really using an eye cream before, my usual facial oil/moisturizer seemed to work just fine.…Read more

My Skincare Routine | Face Masks & Extras

Hi guys! Now that we're done with the entire AM & PM routine, here are few of the extra bits I like to use. My face mask routine as such as quite methodical. On Wednesdays, right on the middle of the week it's time for a deep cleansing mask followed by a hydrating one. On Saturdays, my exfoliating mask and I have some time together. I don't always follow up with a hydrating mask. It depends, whether I'm going out later or not.   Exfoliating Mask : Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant : Review…Read more

My Skincare Routine | PM

Welcome to part two of my skincare routine, all about night time! Introduction about my skin type and morning skincare routine are all in this post. My pre-blogging self would be scoffing at this routine. From foam cleanser + Nivea + Vaseline, this is what it's come to! The first part of my night time routine is basically cleansing and toning. I very much prefer using cleansing oils and balms/milk/cream variants. Another addition that I previously did not use is an exfoliating toner. It's really helped with keeping the PH of my skin more acidic. I…Read more

My Skincare Routine | AM

Welcome to the three part series on my skincare routine! The last one I did was in 2013. I wanted to do one last year but I was never quite happy with my overall routine. Part Two is up here! I guess I should start off with explaining about my skin type! Skip ahead if you've heard this a million times already. I basically have dry skin, more so in winters. It's normal during the monsoons when it's humid. I don't really get oily but if it's a really hot summer day I…Read more
Alpha-H Balancing and Pore Refining Mask

Alpha-H Balancing and Pore Refining Mask

Hey everyone! Let's talk skincare! After my disaster with the Origins mask, it was a relief to find a deep cleansing mask that didn't dry me out horribly. Everyone, meet the Alpha-H Balancing and Pore Refining Mask. Heavily lavender scented, it's a very light olive (pista) coloured soft clay mask. It's a bit clumpy and thick in consistency but easy to distribute. I leave it on for 10 minutes, by then the mask is almost white in colour with no uncomfortable stretchiness! It does feel a bit tight, but an adequate amount. I usually rinse it off a…Read more

My idea of getting through the work midweek is making plans for the weekend! It's all decided, I'm going to be cooped up in my room watching the rest of House of Cards. All I want is Robin Wright's wardrobe! Meanwhile, you can take a peek at what I've been loving the past month. This is going to be a long favourites post! I think it's the first one for 2015. Let's just jump in!   01. Guerlain Gloss D'enfer Maxi Shine Lip Gloss in Candy Strip :: I haven't reviewed this gloss yet…Read more
The February 2015 Fab Bag!

The February 2015 Fab Bag!

I have a love hate relationship with beauty boxes. While I always wanted to try the Glossy Boxes of the world, in reality, I just ended up with a bunch of minis I didn't use. On the other hand I loved using those pretty boxes for storage! I have reviewed a few beauty boxes a long time ago. I think FabBag used to be Vellvette and I thought I'd review one this month. It's been a while! The February 2015 Fab Bag*  is centered around the date night theme! Overall, I think it has a…Read more
Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream

Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream

I've been a moisturizer  hopper ever since I started the blog. While I've found good lightweight moisturizers for the summer/travelling (Avene Smoothing Rebalancing Emulsion), when it comes to winter I still haven't found the one. Here's the latest one I've tried. Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream was on my wishlist for a long time. I really wanted to try the brand and the day cream,  it generally had great reviews, seemed like the safest option. Did the deed when I had a voucher on FeelUnique. The minute you open it up, the first thing…Read more
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask

Hi guys! I'm having a rough week and I really need to sleep more. It's just one of those days where I want to curled up in my blanket all day. Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask as you might guess is a cleansing mask. I've been using this for around 5 months now and here's how it's been. I know most people love this product but I haven't had a great experience with it. Firstly, I have dry skin so it's probably a bit too much for me. It's partly my fault because…Read more
Goa Beauty Essentials

Goa Beauty Essentials

It's time for my annual pilgrimage to Goa. Four days of sun, sand, cheap booze and even cheaper petrol! The weather right now is as pleasant as it can get, it's going to be perfect! Every year we go to a different beach and this time we'll be exploring Morjim and Ashwem. Let me know your favourite Goa haunts! I'm excited! This time I thought I'd put up an 'Essentials' post, also a good excuse to discuss travel minis. I pretty much carry a similar amount of things when I travel there (or anywhere else).…Read more
