Delhi Couture Week was right after IBFW and just as fabulous. I digress but on Monday I had my lower wisdom tooth removed… it’s been like hell. I have to take so many medicines and I’m constantly falling asleep. Wasted two complete days doing absolutely nothing. I’ve had my upper wisdom teeth removed before and it was nowhere as bad as this! :/ I hope none of you are plagued with dental work, it’s the absolute worst.
So, anyway… moving on, here’s Sabyasachi, Anamika Khanna and Varun Bahl!
This collection is just so glam! I like the sheer sequins work, it’s just so rich. But it isn’t heavy or gaudy and I love how delicate it all looks. Loved every single piece here.
Anamika Khanna played more with the silhouettes. The lehenga volume it different lengths looks nice. You had some of the boldest and out there pieces as well with the sheer bell bottoms and satin dhoti with a heavy embroidered jacket.
Varun Bahl’s collection played more with mix of colours and print . I love the use of that print pink and yellow, it make the looks more youthful. The black and white ones looked more regal though.
