Grand is a word that comes to your mind for Lhuillier’s collection, edgy for Altuzarra and clean for Beckham. very different styles throughout but each with it’s one trend making show.
When I post the slidewhows here, I generally edit them to a prsentable number of images. My editing skills went for a toss with Monique Lhuillier’s gorgeous collection. This will be image heavy with 2 slideshows for her collection. The show starts of with white winter wear which looks very luxe and elegant. The second half has Oscar gowns. The distortion in the runway look is something that comes to life in the collection itself midway through the show. The gold and taupe gowns is beautiful. The feather print and geometric scattered prints look amazing.
Altuzarra has a very wearable collection with an edgy mix of leather panels. The jackets and coats are very easy and comfortable. Those oversize mittens are adorable! But the black and white mix fur vest is gorgeous. The leather coats are stunning.
With the dark but bright palette of navy, purple and royal blue, Victoria Beckham’s primary collection adds class to wearable clothes. The deep V neck purple and grey dress with the navy turtle neck is the essence of the collection. The keyhole neck mini dresses look fab. Embracing velvet in the collection showed signs that the collection has evolved. It’s so much more than the fitted dress now but the collection has pieces reminiscent of those early collections.
