London Fashion Week saw brilliant collections from Alice Temperley, Vivienne Westwood’s Red Label and Matthew Williamson.
Temperley’s collection started off with a gorgeous taupe and black dress. It was rather simple but very polished and that set the tone. What impressed me was that the collection delved more into prints and making them workable. I love the one button blue plaid coat. It looks very young and sophisticated. I also like the black and cream gown with a vest-like body. The orange and white 3d like printed gown was also stunning.
Vivienne Westwood Red Label
Vivienne Westwood’s Red Label collection sought to look vey edge and succeeded. I loved the striped blue and maroon coat. I never thought those two colours could look so well together. The grey dress with holographic zebra prints and tulle is really pretty. Most of the dusty plum outfits would look great for formal wear too.
Matthew Williamson’s collection provided great delight by having such a diversity in the collection. I loved the pastel neon outfits. The mint lace top with silver iridescent skirt is beautiful and so modern. The large statement necklaces with the ombre threads flowing down look amazing. There’s a lot to be loved in this collection.
