It’s long gone, but here are updates from New York fashion Week fall collections. Loved Carolina Herrera’s collection! Also reviewing Ohne Titel and Barbara Tfank.
I loved the separates here, it has a slight retro feel to it but it’s ‘ladylike’. I love the darker navy and burgundy pieces. That grey gown with the black sash is also very pretty.
Mixing textures and fabrics has always been a part of the collections. I like the monochrome and black combinations, adds so much depth. Overall, it’s not a stellar collection but the separates are very wearable.
Every year, fashion wise if there’s one thing you can depend on, it’s Barbara Tfank. You can be sure it would suit mature sophisticated women, you can be sure it will be exquisitely made of the best fabrics and that the first lady would probably wear it. I love the iridescent gown with the black velvet on top. The blue floral gown is also stunning. I have to say, the styling here is awful, the hair really brings the collection down.
