New York Fashion Week continues with on trend collections like Erin Fetherstone, Araks and Tanya Taylor! With the onslaught of 10-15 shows a day, It’s becoming difficult to keep up now!
I’m not too enthralled with the “Charmed, I’m sure” use but I do like the navy and lime combination of lace! The gown in the face fabrics is utterly gorgeous! I think design wise there is nothing new in these but they are readily wearable clothes that are well made. The black gown at the end is also quite good.
It’s all about the odd seams and volume. I think the silver and deep wine coloured polka dot combination is very fresh. As is the rusty satin dress with a sheer burgundy dress over it. I think the separates are statement worthy when worn with something more conforming or normal. I also like the slant of seam in the striped dress, though it would be very difficult to pull it off.
I didn’t like the fluffy collars ( as I call them) at all, mainly because they just look so cheap and like something you got off ebay. I think she tried to incorporate a lot of trend in one collection but neither are done well. It’s a very average collection. Yes, the dresses like the crop top one are pretty but it’s been done before.
