Pretty fall collections from Preen, Marios Schwab and Topshop at London Fashion Week!
With it’s second collection Preen Line in tow, Preen is proving to be quite the label. Another Star Wars reference! This time dedicated solely to Darth Vader and again not entirely convincing like the Rodarte one. I’m not sure if its endorsement for the new movie or the motive, but either way I’m not too happy with the result. I’d rather wear a t-shirt from Cafe Press. That aside, the rest of the collection is actually quite good with the geometric patterns. The bright orange red coat and the sheer dress looks stunning.
Soft, clean, minimalistic and feminine are words you might use to describe this collection. But that little bit of hardware changes things dramatically. The metal strping, the plates on the torso and the subtly placed studs, it all looks amazing. Love this collection!
I didn’t have very high expectations from this and for me, it isn’t that exciting. I like that there are a lot of layered pieces. The prints and coats are a major selling point here though.
