A landslide of shows at new York Fashion Week. Reviewing collections from Rag & Bone, Nicole Miller and Charlotte Ronson.
Rag & Bone
It was a different palette of fall colours at the Rag&Bone show. I loved the eggshell colour in combination with brown and grey. The chunky knits have such a cozy feel to it. I’m not too thrilled with the dresses with the trousers in the collection look really good. Shoes are also a big pull and while I didn’t like the knee high ones, the two tone ankle boots are worth a look.
It’s very electric, this collection. It has a youthful vibe full of energy. The silhouettes are fall appropriate and very now. The mashup of prints and embroidery is very detailed and a visual treat. I just love the tight print top with a belt and the feathery skirt, it’s not a new look but I that I love. The variety with separates in this collection is extensive. The dress and skirt with the peacock feathers is beautiful!
I really liked that bright floral print with the red and pink mixed with blue. I also like the red and black dress. But overall, it’s simplistic but still quite wearable.
