Trying to keep up with the last few fall collections for London Fashion Week. Here’s exciting stuff from Temperley London, David Koma and Meadham Kirchhoff!
You always expect a clean, regal and sophisticated collection from Temperley and this time they caught everyone by surprise. It’s still all that, but with ethnic and Byzantine prints they just made the label more global. I just love the blue and gray prints, the quilted jackets and coats, the grey satin dress with the orange and red floral print, it’s stunning and simple.
Watching a David Koma show is like entering the Tron universe and he does not disappoint! The leather weaving looks so cool, I love how futuristic and still wearable the outfits are. I really like the triangular cutouts at the midriff, that grey skater dress looks stunning.
First off, I just found the decor so distracting. Granted, this isn’t a universal aesthetic, I found it lacking originality. I also found the quilt like clothes too heavy and unflattering.
