Vivienne Westwood Red Label
The collection goes back in time recreating signature looks. It’s wearable fashion and outerwear. People who desperately need good designer work wear will love this. I do like the blue and grey plaid suit and the ruby jumper. That red coat with the lapels forming a heart is just gorgeous. I like the black finale dress as well.
The lack of busy prints is surprising but it’s a stunning collection. The use of modern symbols of urban living and “rules” is an interesting choice. It delves more into signets and city badges which makes this a very urban collection. I do like the pale blue dress with a maroon turtleneck and the symbols running down the front! It’s unlike anything I’ve seen in a long time!
I think it’s a very fun collection. The use of red and blue fur is a start of trends. The flower motifs keep it youthful. I really like the sheer flowing dress with the star prints. The simple black jumpsuit and the pale blue coat look great as well.
