Pamella Roland’s collection is drop dead gorgeous! The focus on well fitted clothes with leather and embroidered extravagance is beautiful. The sunset print feels a bit out of place, but looks beautiful nonetheless. The love the opening outfit with the peplum leather top. It said the tone for the show. The grey dress with a side knot and leather piping is stunning. When the collection adding more colour with plums and olive greens, it looked more lively! The finale gowns with the feather boleros and wide necks looks so classy. I love that look.
Like DvF, Donna Karan’s collection channelled her previous successes. The draped jersey had such ease and movement to it. The entire collection is so elegant. The sheer panels and draped skirts with a slit look very sensual but classy all the same. The outerwear has a very 80’s feel to it. I love the grey finale gown with the draping and sheer bodice.
Betsey Johnson was a last minute surprise for many who though the designer would not be showing this year. The collection is full of bright and crazy activewear. But if you look at each piece individually, it’s very wearable. I love the grey and black polka dot jacket. The yellow coat with the leopard print lining will find many customers. The white fur half sleeved jacket as well is very pretty indeed!
