The Olsen twin’s The Row has a very clean sophistication to it, ICB debuted with a good mix of different trends. And then we arrive at Carolina Herrera’s collection which is simple and elegant. New York Fashion Week didn’t look any better.
On first glance, the collection seems to have a military look to it, with navys, deep greens and a strong silhouette. When you delve further you see a softer side. The outerwear is well tailored and would be a high selling point. The dresses in this collection have a lot of intricate detail and look very lean and comfortable. The collection is very wearable.
There’s a good mix of prints, knits, leather and faux fur in the collection. It’s very wearable and the only way I can go ahead is by picking out my favourites. I love that leather belt with the zig zag and chains! The printed trousers will really well and look great.
The collection has a very earthy tone to it. You start of with beiges. browns and green. The latter half of the collection with gowns is a depiction of florals and also captured the colours quite well with that subtle but beautiful print. I love the opening dress with the black panels; it has a very vintage feel to it. I also like the blue, beige and red gown with the big bow on the side.
