Just one more day of Lakme Fashion Week left! On day 4, however, collections from Agnimitra Paul, Farah and Firdos and Vikram Phadnis made a lasting impression.
Agnimitra Paul had a collection with a pretty vine and leaf print mashed up in multiple colours. The collection had simpler pieces sa well like the opening black dress with pink lining and an embroidered top. An anarkali with a green hoodie was the best piece.
Farah and Firdos
Farah and Firdos presented a collection with mainly statement pieces. Those ranged from a velvet organza dress with a heavy border on the bottom, to a simpler sheer bloused saree with a large patterned border and a gorgeous emerald green gown in pink floral embroidery. But the lehengas for the finale, the pink number especially was utterly gorgeous.
Vikram Phadnis had quite a show with 70 people walking the ramp in his creations. The traditional wear and show had a very comfortable and homely feel to it. The designer added unique elements with the broad intricate details, introducing ombre, pairing dark blues and purples with warm tone and elaborate gold jewlery. I love the orange salwar kameez with the large draped red dupatta. The sarees with belts look very elegant.
