So this is part 2 of the Met Ball red carpet! Warning, this is very image heavy! In case you miss it, here’s part 1. So let’s begin!
Unlike her sister, Dakota here looks amazing. The gown is appropriate for her figure, and although it’s not loud as some of the other dresses, it maintains that simple charm. I think her make up is very pretty and soft as well.
in Donna Karan Atelier
She looks very feminine and fresh in this. I’m not too happy about the eye makeup but overall, it’s a great look for her.
No one will deny that the gown is gorgeous and looks amazing on her. But she needs a matte powder something to make that hair not look so dull.
in Emilio Pucci
I think the dress is absolutely stunning. The makeup, hair, it’s all just perfect.
I love the dress. It’s bright, yet very simple. I think she styled it the right way as well but that lip colour looks too frosty for my liking.
in Tommy Hilfiger
I think with Nicki Minaj with fashion, you either like her or you don’t. I found this gown and appearance too be not so loud this time round. It’s a refreshing change.
in Calvin Klein
I’m not too sure about this. The look is too lacklustre for me.
in Prabal Gurung
She looks hot in this. I love the simple make up as well.
Is is just me, or has this dress appeared on the red carpet many times? Nevertheless, she looks stunning, I love that she kept the make up minimal. Makes her look younger.
in Stella McCartney
I love the pantsuit on her. I’m just not a fan of the matchy matchy eye shadow.
in Michael Kors
The dress is perfect for her curves and this photo doesn’t do it justice. She looks amazing.
in Giambattista Valli
I’m not sure why but I didn’t really like the overall look. It looks too unfinished. It has more to do with her hair and makeup than the gown though.
She looks adorable. I love the safety pin too. Goes with the theme in a non literal but iconic way.
in Marc Jacobs
Wacky, yes. But I still don’t see how this is punk.
She looks stunning and well tanned. The dress looks great on her.
I love the gown, it so different and easy. She looks really amazing in this.
in J Mendel
I love the gown on her. It’s very edgy but I wish the hair was less severe.
in vintage Valentino
The entire outfit screams punk but blonde just doesn’t suit her.
in vintage Givenchy
The gown is so interesting but for some reason she looks a lot older than she is. Didn’t like this at all.
in Chanel (i think)
I couldn’t believe this was January Jones. She looks tough and the eye makeup helps the look. Love it!!
The dress is so gorgeous and intricate. It looks amazing with the purple/pink details.
in Stella McCartney
If Madonna was queen of the rebels, Diaz looks like the royal queen. I love the spikey belt and the gown fits her perfectly.
in Dolce & Gabbana
And undoubtedly, we have the Spanish Queen here. The dress really is a work of art. She looks stunning!
Holy moly! What a dress! Just look at the trail! Just like last year round, Beyonce made a big bold statement. And she looks good too!
in Diane von Furstenberg
It’s rather simple but very elegant. I love the metallic work on the waist. Her hair looks great as well.
in Carlos Obando
I like the gown and the jewellery, she looks really good. I might have chosen a better belt though.
This woman can do no wrong. Everything about this look is perfection.
The love the greyish blue colour and emerald green accessories. The colours look great on her. I wish the gown wasn’t so boxy and stiff though.
Umm, no. Will not do.
in Zac Posen
I love the colours and the little bows on the sides. She looks flawless.
in Zac Posen
It’s such a shame when all it takes is, horrifying eye makeup to ruin an otherwise perfectly beautiful look.
Is it just me or do you also sometimes get confused between Michelle Williams and Carrey Mulligan? I don’t know why that keeps happening to me. Anyway, she looks very chic in the gown and simple shoes.
It borders on pyjama but still looks good due to the gold foil effect. I love her shoes!!
in Antony Vaccarello
Yes, I did try finding a better picture. I actually like this. The metal work and asymmetry does make this punk. Sorta.
in Maison Martin Margiela
She looks amazing in the gown. Love it!
I find the dress just so boring and not glamorous or edgy at all. I can’t.
in Peter Pilotto
I’m not sure why this is making rounds in the worst dressed lists. She looks amazing and the dress fits her perfectly. Yes, the print is insane but that’s what’s great about it.
in Christian Dior
True to her recent advertisements, she looks exactly like a Dior girl.
in Tom Ford
… with Tom Ford. But she looks so fierce and beautiful in this. I love the gown and the intricate details.
in Oscar de la Renta
The fringe gown is gorgeous and although it’s an unusual colour for the red carpet, she looks great in it.
in Louis Vuitton
I love the gown on her. She looks really great here!
in Burberry Prorsum
I love her in the studded jacket and the simple gown.
in Ralph Lauren
Love the cross earring and the hair. The gown looks amazing on her.
That ends the post on the Met Gala. I really liked Katy Perry, Cameron Diaz, Carey Mulligan and Solange Knowles in their respective outfits.
Which ones did you like or hate?
