Spring 2014 RTW at Paris Fashion Week : Cédric Charlier, Vanessa Bruno and Alexis Mabille
Starting off with Paris Fashion Week!
His collections are generally very structural and bold. This time round, there was that same manipulation of fabric to make it more dimensional. At the same time, using sheer layers gave way to a more modern look. I love the high low hems in the light material which makes it flow.
Butterflies! I love how happy this collection is, just the overall vibe. The crop top and the fitted pant looks lovely. I’m not too fond of the overalls with cutouts but the strapless dresses with the heavy belt like detailing and pleats look very fresh.
For some reason the head tie and the khaki reminds me of that woman empowerment moment. I like mixing fabrics but some of them seem a bit too stiff and heavy. I liked the lighter and more elegant pieces in this collection.
