Spring 2014 RTW at Milan Fashion Week : Emporio Armani, Etro and Versace
If I had to describe these three collections in one word each, they would be dreamy, prints!!! and sexy.
94 looks is an enormous collection! I tried my best to edit it down to 35, so this most will be very image heavy! I liked the feminine side that was shown in this collection. The stockings, satin, duochrome materials. It all has a very whimsical feel to it. We get a hint of the pyjama collection again and a lot of separates with that loose feel.
Etro’s prints this season have that Nubian and modern feel to it. I love the mix of blue and beige and those dresses are so stunning. I don’t see myself as someone who overtly loves prints, but for this collection, I certainly do! The dresses with the deep v neck all the way to the waist which is cinched in are the best.
Versace’s collection had that rock and roll theme. But also carried it’s signature sensual pieces. I like the dresses with the criss cross and rhinestones at the center. Overall, it feels like for once, Versace is tempted to head into a another direction, but gingerly.
