Spring 2014 RTW at London Fashion Week : Markus Lupfer, House of Holland and Mark Fast
It’s incredibly difficult to say anything bad about a collection with adorable Persian kittens in them. Did I mention they have a t-shirt with ‘meow’ on them? Part of me hopes this would be a new trend. But all that aside, Lupfer’s collection brings happy memories and thoughts to mind with colourful prints galore and the kawaii-ness of the collection. The pieces are still very much on trend though.
House of Holland
I love the prints in this collection, very edgy. There’s a lot of symmetry in the way they are arranged and make the collection feel more modern. The silhouettes aren’t particularly young but very wearable.
There’s a lot of knitwear in this collection and Mark Fast used an interesting technique. The web like knit just looks so cool! The fit of the clothes is very snug and there’s a very steampunk element to the collection which I like. I would have loved to see more colour though.
