Spring 2014 RTW at Milan Fashion Week: Moschino, Marni and Dolce & Gabbana
These fashion posts may not be your cup of tea. But if I told you there is a teddy bear outfit, would that peek your interest? 😉
Over the top is an understatement. The dramatics aside, the clothes are very chic and on trend. I love the red floral shorts. Of course everyone needs a croissant necklace and a teddy bear collar with a matching cap.
I love the two-tone prints used in this collection. The separates have a more wow factor with the split colours. However, the couture like embellishments and sequins and appliques are just gorgeous. It looks like shattered glass (I’m using that a lot this season) intermixed with florals. It looks very sophisticated. Ruffles aren’t my thing but for those who like them, they are styled beautifully to give more volume.
Dolce & Gabbana
The Grecian inspiration was evident in the architecture and belts. The softness with the floral dresses was a nice surprise and so beautiful. The collection really cultivated this dream fantasy like setting but that aside, the clothes are wonderful and very wearable. There are numerous pieces I liked. The polka dot skirt with the floral t-shirt, the fur tops with the gold belt and the flowing floral dresses, they’re incredible. The gold dresses at the end all coming together, was visually such a high. Being there in person to watch this must have been so incredible.
