Spring 2014 RTW at New York Fashion Week : Thakoon, Diane von Furstenberg and Zac Posen
Thakoon’s collection had that understated glam, that definitely came from the accessorising. The strand of pearls here and there, really elevated the look. The clothes are simple but that have that Parisian chicness to it. I like the bright pink red pleated dress though, it’s really unique.

I’d say it was a pretty straight forward DvF collection, we got everything we wanted. You had sleek wearable clothes that can easily transform day to night. The most eye popping prints you’d want. Some parts of the collection had that desert or adventure vibe. I like the blue maxi and the printed skater skirts.
The opening set the mood right off the bat. It was sophisticated, soft, very feminine and beautiful. The corset like peplum dress also showed some experimentation but in the end, the couture like gowns really stole the show. The draping in this clothes is cannot go unnoticed and gives it a wow factor.
