Spring 2015 RTW : Milan Fashion Week : Part Two
Hey guys! Here’s the second and final part of Milan Fashion Week SS15. You can catch up with Part One here.
I tend to like Versace’s sensual dresses, they always know how to show off a body. It was a stunning change to find more contemporary silhouettes and perforated cut out patterns.
I loved how lux the grey-taupe gowns looked at the Giorgio Armani show. It’s a difficult colour which looks graceful but dull. The jackets and blazers were another feature.
Pleated prints were the highlight of Roberto Cavalli’s show and they were incredibly gorgeous and colourful! I’m sold! Etro was another show where the prints were equally beautiful.
Dolce & Gabbana had a stunning show. It’s so impactful visually but the clothes are also very impressive. I that authentic Spanish vibe and the modern silhouettes with the embellishments, matador jackets and baroque.
Against the usual Milan heavyweights, the minimalism and simplicity of Jil Sander and Bally stand out. But I was left most impressed by the Salvatore Ferragamo show where the opening cap itself is so beautiful. Much of the collection that follows leaves with a lasting impression. I love the brights, dress that are sheer and pleated, the separates and the textured skirts.
