Review
I actually liked this movie. It’s in the same league as the Avengers; worth a watch but maybe not two. I like Andrew Garfield’s spiderman better than Tobey Maguire’s one. He had more snark and a personality that was true to the comic book persona. The storyline was interesting and had a right amount of secrecy and suspense to keep the audience engaged. Emma Stone’s acting was pretty good as was Garfield. The villan had a Dr. Jekell – Mr. Hyde personality that made him formidable but still vulnerable. This was always a question of “is a good? is he bad?”. I think overall the story and characters made a great fit. One of the better superhero movies for sure.
