The movie certainly has a unique concept about a doctor in search of the perfect sperm donor. There’s a lot of hilarity in the clients and staff characters portrayed. The strong punjabi slang could be a bit difficult to grasp at times but it makes the movie very real. There’s a very casual approach to the acting that serves well here.
The best scenes were those between Vicky’s mom and grandma, especially when the two are drunk and rambling. Also Dr. Chadda’s attempts to get Vicky on board are hilarious. I really liked the movie and Ayushman is an amazing actor. Having seen him in roadies, the character doesn’t feel too scripted but like an extension of his own personality.
I know many people didn’t but I love the movie. I’d watch it over many times.
