Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick in 129

Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick in 129

This is going to be a quick review of  a lipstick that was supposed to go up about three months ago! You all probably recognize the Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick. I just think Lakme lipsticks are so engraved in memory because all the moms and aunts used to have them. I remember the green packaging from the 90's. Anyway, I digress. These lipsticks are possibly the most affordable at the moment and their creamy formula is actually really good. Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick in 129 is a really great nude shade for Indian skintones.…Read more
Illamasqua Lipstick in Atomic

Illamasqua Lipstick in Atomic

I had always wanted to try Illamasqua lipsticks and Atomic was one shade that I was always attracted to. Illamasqua Atomic is a bright warm pink but with a frosty purple sheen. It's described as a fuchsia violet which is quite accurate but it's on the warmer side. I'd say it's one of the few frosty lipsticks in my collection. But I don't think it looks tacky like the very pearlescent frosty ones. The sheen is purple or pink depending on the lighting and it looks amazing, there's also some shimmer in there.…Read more
Dirty Works Vitamin C Brightening Mask

Dirty Works Vitamin C Brightening Mask

You might look at this and think it kind of looks similar to Soap & Glory. That's what I thought when I across Dirty Works. Same retro wit product lines but Dirty Works is like the less expensive sister of Soap & Glory. I came across the range on MedPlusBeauty eons ago and I bought a couple of the products. Clearly, I was in my blogger exploring mood. The Dirty Works Vitamin C Brightening Mask  is basically a face mask and a scrub. The scrub part is something I realised after buying it.…Read more
Mac Contrast Eyeshadow

Mac Contrast Eyeshadow

Something about Mac eyeshadows gives you the feeling like you're holding something precious. It's well founded with other eyeshadows like Woodwinked, Expensive Pink etc. But with Contrast, I'm not too sure. From the plethora of finishes and colours, Contrast is a velvet finish eyeshadow. The colour is really something. It's like a dark blue, almost black base with very fine blue pearly microshimmer. I like that the blue is very cool-toned, no hint of navy or green in it. The finish is slightly matte and I like the  matte base with shimmer kind…Read more
Stila Lip Glaze in Kitten

Stila Lip Glaze in Kitten

The monsoons are properly here! That makes me a happy bunny! Today I'll be reviewing Stila's Lip Glaze in the shade Kitten. I got this with the Merry & Bright Palette. The shade Kitten is a cult favourite. Originally in eyeshadow form, it's a warm peach shimmer and really beautiful. In a lip gloss form, it's a great layering shade and also pretty on its own if you don't mind a ton of shimmer. Lip Glaze is basically a lip gloss but these come with a pen like packaging, similar to YSL Touche…Read more
Fabindia Orange and Cinnamon Face and Body Gel Scrub

Fabindia Orange and Cinnamon Face and Body Gel Scrub

This is a very very late review. I finished using this a month ago but I just never came around to writing about it. I bought this on a whim after my tiny Soap & Glory scrub was used up. My only criteria was a  scrub that wasn't too abrasive. Fabindia has some really nice products. My mum in particular loves their lotions and I have tried their Aloe & Cucumber face mask before. The Orange and Cinnamon Face and Body Gel Scrub and looks and smells amazing. You have an orange gel and…Read more

Essie DJ Play That Song Nail Polish

Essie DJ Play That Song Nail Polish

It's a shade perfect for summer with a cheesy name. Oh, it's also a radiant orchid shade! What else do you need? Essie DJ Play That Song came out in the 2013 Neon collection. It's a jelly polish (similar to Maybelline Colorshow). You can use this by itself or over a white nail polish but you get different colours. Over the nail by itself, you get the colour as shown in the swatches below, it looks more pink/fuchsia. Over white you get a colour closer to that in the bottle. It's also described…Read more
Elle 18 Juicy Lip Balm in Juicy Berry

Elle 18 Juicy Lip Balm in Juicy Berry

This review will be short and sweet! Here's a pretty pink lip gloss. Elle 18 Juicy Lip Balm in Juicy Berry. It's a lovely warm pink, very much coral in the tube. It's a very sheer lip gloss. On the lips, the colour changes a bit depending on your pigmentation. This will also work well as a layering gloss over pink and nude lipsticks. It is very lightweight and thus feels comfortable on the lips and not sticky. The consistency is thin and very similar to the Maybelline Colorsensational High Shine Lip Gloss. That's…Read more
Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Peach

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Peach

I'm back with a lipstick review. I had a busy weekend and no sleep! I want this week to get over already! I'm reviewing the Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Peach which is a true peachy shade with silver pearlescent bits. Most colours of this shade can look a bit more pink on me but this distinctly maintains it's peach tone. So, very true to the name! I didn't find this on par with True Red in terms of formula though. It's a lightweight creamy formula but the pigmentation is sheer to medium. It takes…Read more
